Yeah, I had gathered he was at least bisexual because he can't even talk to women (not even kidding he literally CANNOT talk to women) and he was spending most of his time pretending to be gay for some guy who was straight and also (probably not a coincidence I wasn't around when this **** started) a massive homophobe. But it turned out, while we were pretending to be in a relationship, that after I told him that I was bisexual, he was straight, or at least not attracted to me) and absolutely nothing came of it.

No offense, that's just something that's always confused me.
I was like "I like girls, but I like boys but something something social standards something something" when I was a kid. But puberty kicks in and I started to like guys more and more. But I still like girls. I denied my feelings for a long while thinking, "Hey, I'm not gay. I'm not straight though. What am I, a weirdo?" But my mind is now clear, I realized that I am a bisexual. I think your sexism is clouding your judgement.
If we define "smart" as "intelligent" and look objectively at the people that have been at the forefront of intellectual achievement throughout the ages we will see that the great majority are male. This should be an indication that if any gender is intellectually superior to the other it's likely the male gender. This is an objective observation.
I personally think that there probably isn't much difference between the genders in terms of intelligence. I believe it has more to do with how people grow up. The way men traditionally are raised seems to be more effective at fostering intelligence. So with a gender-netural upbringing I believe both genders should be able to reach similar intellectual achievements.
