Pre-rework Ashe (back when her Frost Shot was her Q), building Tear is so good. You can have the upgraded item faster than you expected.

That's still pretty bad considering a stacked Manamune is useless on Ashe. :^)

A stacked Muramana is as useless on Ashe as it is on Varus, it is only there for the mana to spam your spamable spells.

Hecarim and Rammus see lately a lot of play. Hecarim because of his Flash-range knockback and Rammus as counter to ADC's or generally as strong top laner.

Except Ashe has worse poke than Varus (obnoxious as hell but still really telegraphed and easy to avoid), while at the same time having better DPS than Varus, so if you want to poke on her you may as well just go a normal Essence Reaver ADC build.
