I like your guide and understand it for the most part, I have one question, did you put how much ap you typically get when doing this build, i didnt see and am very cuirious on what it is typically going to be by the end of the game. on other question is, how much from items, and how much from your passive, just wondering how i might do throughout the game.

Hey that's actually a really good idea to include AP values throughout the game as a reference. I definitely would add that in but unfortunately I haven't been playing the game at all since winter break and classes + collegiate league stuff are starting soon for me so I'm not sure I'll have time to edit the guide. If I do though I'll definitely include something like that in the guide.

If you want to do this on your own, I'd advise to try to get a feel for it yourself throughout your games. Maybe like every 10 - 15 minutes or so try to note down how much AP you're getting, record this over multiple games, and then look at which factors in the games helped influence your AP counts / stack counts. I would help but I really don't think I have the immediate time to do so. Sorry :(

I main Veigar (350k+ mastery points) and I appreciate the time you put into explaining the item variation, game phase responsibilities, and niche strengths that Veigar has (esp. mid-game skirmishing). I myself created a guide for Season 6 and understand how painful and time consuming these are to create lol. Cheers

Great guide. Just 3 questions:
1. Would you recommend poking enemies with Q or farming with Q early game?
2. What do you think of barrier on veigar?
3. What is your reason for not going Stormraiders?

1. Focus should be on cs, but whenever you can take an advantageous trade with q you should.
2. Barrier is good vs long range burst that you can't respond to: eg: zed leblanc xerath
3. Sorry I didn't update it i think SRS is the best spell on Veigar rn

This is one of the most detailed guides I've read on Mobafire. A lot of effort has gone into explaining the decisions behind certain item choices. Well written and constructed guide.

While the guide itself is good and definitely deserving of a +1, the problem is that you present either too little information or go just through the best case scenario.
Most people reading this guide won't be in a high division, that's why you should explain each and every thing you must do. Yes, is a simple champion, not much variation, but at least try to go through how to be useful if you fall behind and things like that. One important thing I'd consider adding is match-ups: while adding all the champs is a waste of time, try to classify your opponents into certain categories and say how to play against those categories. You should be extremely in-depth as assuming that your readers are all people capable of logical thinking and deduction isn't the case.
Explaining in a very detailed matter also helps the reader get a better grasp on the game and not only on . Our goal, as guide writers, should be helping people get good with a champion, but that requires some degree of knowledge of the game that not everybody has(hence their lower ranking).
EDIT: Also, why not ?

Thanks for the review! Do you have any other tips regarding clarity of information aside from matchups? I personally don't have the time to create and maintain matchups because of how the nature of quite a few change a lot depending on game changes / champ changes / item changes.

simply isn't necessary and doesn't benefit as much. has a strong enough power spike early on and already has a ton of AP scaling from his passive. It's not a bad item per se but it's just really not the best.
