My top 3 wishes:
1. Not having to worry about my account being taken over nor my account information being revealed to hackers;
2. Make more MOBAFire content accessable for the average website user. It be a community tab, it be throwing things on the front page, it be anything else;
3. There needs to be more initiative from the staff. I feel the processes on MOBAfire could update much quicker than they are currently doing, the site is practically the same as it was years ago with the exception of prime, the removal of key features from the front page and the lack of user interaction. Right now I do not feel that the staff is aware enough of what the issue is with MOBAFire and how it could improve. Usually people have to call out the problem until the problem is even seen by the staff let alone fixed. Even when the admins decide to work on it, the process is usually very slow until the problem is resolved. I am pretty sure this thread started up because of Fatalblade's thread where Jhoijhoi made a list of features she would like to see. Why wasn't this thought of way back? Like back when every good suggestion got answered with: "We will put it on our to do list (which is very big btw guys so it might take a while!)". There needs to be more action taken.

This thread is a step in the right direction, but this is just a start. Keep being involved with the numbers and the people, look at what is happening to the website and respond in time. If the website tackles the issues people have, more people are bound to come and they will make the website more interesting and fun for everyone. The problem with community interaction, reps being given and votes being done would solve itself for the most part.
Change is gooooood

+1 It can be a hassle having to do it through gravatar every time.

^ Out of interest, what exactly would be the main complaint regarding the use of Gravatar? Have you experienced technical issues with it, or do you simply feel that it requiring an external account is too much hassle?

Another possibility in the same vein as portraits would be to have different portraits based on each guide's skin choice. For instance, if a guide chose a certain skin in the editor, it would show the chosen skin's portrait on the champion page instead of the base one. Most skins have profile icons already, so cropping them all wouldn't be an issue.

Pardon my ignorance, but I'm afraid I'm not sure what you're trying to say. The option to select a certain skin in the guide editor is to modify the picture which is displayed as a background for the guide's cheatsheet, how is that supposed to be related to the page of that champion? Am I missing something really obvious here?

I honestly think what happened was that the people were ok with Mobafire as is, and when it was triggered that it could be more the suggestions kept coming. Even the mods probably thought "where might we improve?" but didn't realize so much could be done?

Either way, surveys like this being made every 4 months or so would probably keep the site always on the edge of what the people want from it, that is after the changes suggested are made.
Thank you Tsuki for the sig!

So say you choose Arcade Ahri as your selected skin for your guide, then in the main page where all the guides for Ahri are listed, the icon for that certain guide is also Acarde Ahri, instead of the regular Ahri.

I can understand why people would want their guide to be different and stand out with a different icon in the guide list, but honestly I personally feel like it will create chaos.

^I forgot to mention that the champion-specific guides should appear on the right. Currently when you look up a champion, the guides for them don't appear in the side bar, which I think is odd.

Oh, and the image at the top would be an automatic carousel of skin splashes that cycled through. You can also click the squares to view the different skins.

Thoughts?

Looks great, jhoi; very sleek. A link to their Universe page would also fit well.

It's annoying that we're required to have an account on another site when most forums have custom avatar options built into their site. The fact that Gravatar has required you to have a Word press account too (I had to make one a while back to even be able to access my Gravatar) for a while now makes it even more annoying.
