However, I'm also sure there's a lot of barbers out there more than willing to cut your hair regardless of how you want it, it just sucks that you went through all of this to see them deny it for whatever dumb reason. Well, it's their loss of business anyway.

Maybe they asked because they might have thought you were making the appointment for a guy? But if you explained it was for you, and they said yes, then it doesn't make sense that they'd refuse to do the appointment. Sucky situation. Is there a reason you can't go to a hair salon instead?

I sort of had a breakdown at work. I cried for almost my whole break while holding a small plastic bag of popcorn. :/
