so i understand the point into Chrysalis but if you are trying to support even though i enjoy killing them i still try to feed my team mates so why take it when you aren't getting kills why not take other things even going something like Future's market or cosmic insight in inspiration or even getting stuff like font of life

Assists are also takedowns, not just kills

well depends assists are only counted as kills if you are the one to get them to a very low health which is why it's a 50/50 when rengar gets an assists the again why is he getting assists? lol. i still like the guide was just questioning :) <3

Takedown is used as a generic term for kills or assists; how much damage you do isn't related to whether it's counted as a takedown or not. just makes you a bit more durable early on and allows you to convert that durability into a some extra AP once you pick up 4 assists and/or kills.

ok well i suppose i see that but when it came to my bonetooth on i had to get them really close to death or fully kill them to add to my passive which i found really weird but thanks i will try this one time but i enjoy my rune page for

's passive has a really short frame where you can get the benefit of a takedown. It looks like they have to die within 1.5 seconds of you dealing damage to them.

Hey, another author here,

Just a heads up, on some computers, like the laptop I am on rn, some of the icons are really hard to see, they are still visible, but the icons are really tiny.

Which ones are you referring to? Just so I can get an idea of what the issue is. I'm also on a laptop, but I've never noticed that myself.

My laptop is smaller, which might me it, but the ones that are a little hard to see are the potions, the ward, and .

Yea, the potion ones are quite small, true. I'll see about making some minor edits to the format, I need to add some items to the guide anyway.

Love Sona i still do so well with her i am mastery 6 with her but i kinda build random things which do work but this could give me another example of how to play her i appreciate this guide so much thank you for making it <3

Sona's Q is nerfed so bad that it isn't worth maxing it anymore.

PS : The spoiler in laning could maybe benefit from a space after the text and be renamed "Warding map / red dot = pink" or something like that (if it is indeed that map)

Thanks, I'm glad you liked the guide.

I originally used pink dots on that map, but then remembered control wards are red, so changed it to red to avoid any confusion for someone new. I'll add a legend to the map itself, probably, and also change the spoiler so it says "warding map" (forgot I hadn't).

This is a very detailed guide, I personally enjoyed reading it and liked the runes you run with. Indeed, it is a good way to give her sustain and mana regen. I personally prefer to be aggressive with Sona and to be able to set up team fights through my ult and give my allies the sustain and speed required to either press the attack or swiftly to retreat. I will go and try it out right away. Thanks and keep up the good work.

I always find the extra bit of mana regen from the three glyphs goes a long way early game, but it's also perfectly fine to just run all flat AP, or even flat magic resist, glyphs if that's your preference.

Hmmm...That is also an alternative, but I personally think thunderlords and grandfather's gift are not bad on her too. It adds additional damage which sometimes makes the difference in a team fight and it also allows me to choose between going ap and support, whatever I chose, I still get that little additional damage which persists thorough the entire game. For a support windcaller is definitely better especially for Sona because of her heal. What do you think about this flexibility I am talking about?

I feel like stops being particularly meaningful when you get to mid-late game because 's damage starts to fall off. is fine, I just prefer the other two masteries. doesn't particularly fall off on (or anyone else, for that matter), which is why I consider it to be superior.

Hey :)
It's normal for the supp to keep the last item spot for pink wards... But now since Locket doesn't provide CDR anymore, is it still worth to buy it? If you buy it, you have to swap Mobis for Ionian so you can reach max CDR... Is there any situations where you'd buy Mobis then?

Nowadays coins just gives so much gold; is it wiser to buy coin instead of spellthiefs or is spellthief's passive too good?

I will sometimes buy mobis just because the extra movement speed is useful, especially if I'm going to get another CDR item like or . still has a really nice and useful active, so I do still get it fairly often. You can also just get to reach the CDR cap and then swap them for , , or other boots if you end up overcapping CDR.

is more consistent, but I do prefer for the extra damage it gives, plus the tribute upgrade is actually quite good for her. You can really do either though, it's personal preference. I would definitely run coin if you're forced to max W first though, because the sustain is just so much better on it.
