Pretty neat guide you've written there, thanks for that! I hope you can update the itemization part one of these days 'cause 8.4 mage item rework and a noob like me is unsure what would be best to go for now. :P Another formal point: You might want to rethink using a purple font color. It's a dark-ish color on a dark background and doesn't exactly make it easier to read. Just my 2 cents.

My guess is that it's the newest/most recently updated Leblanc guide for season 8. Also because Leblanc is part of free champion rotation.

First and foremost, appreciate this guide a lot. I’ve been using LB over the last season and have been following this guide (items, bans, runes, etc). I had a few questions that might not fit in with the guide, but as a main LB you might be able to help with.

1. Do you have any tips for early csing with her. Obviously mid / late game you can W > Q to farm and entire wave, but any tips to keep cs on track early to mid game. I find my self csing below the average compared to other LB players (and maybe this is a me problem but thought I’d ask). Is that just the nature of LB or is there something I’m missing.

2. Roaming seems to be a pretty important part of LB gameplay. Any way you could touch on when to roam?

No problem if you don’t have answers to these or just don’t want to answer them. Just thought I would ask. Thank you again for all of your work on this. Very helpful!

Thanks for reading the guide. Those are 2 great questions I definitely don't touch on in the guide so I may go ahead and add in sections for those two aspects, but here's the basic breakdown:

1.) CSing with Leblanc is real hard: her last hitting is slow, and does almost no damage. I practice CSing a few times a week by going into Practice Mode and just seeing how many CS I can get in 5 minutes ( I get bored with more than 5) but aim for 50 cs in 5 minutes. Other than that, just make sure you really focus on the first 6 minions, IMHO, they are the most difficult and set the tone for the rest of your CS.

2.) Roaming is definitely an important part of Leblanc's gameplay, but qualifying when you should roam is tough. Some things to consider to determine if you should roam:
a.) Is the lane you're looking to roam to, pushed up?
b.) Is the lane you're looking to roam to, at less than half health?
c.) Can you teleport into the lane you're looking to roam to?
if yes, you probably CAN roam to the lane, but should you? (answer question d to find out!)

d.) Would you lose a full wave of CS (or more) because of the roam?
If yes, you CAN roam, but probably SHOULD NOT, because 12 cs is worth a kill in League economics so it's probably better to stay and lane.
If no, you CAN roam, and probably SHOULD, but I would still use your own discretion.

So those 4 things are what I consider before I roam. Definitely use TP for ganks when you can, but other than that, those 4 questions should help you establish a base line criteria for when your openings are to roam/gank.

One last note is that Leblanc has an especially good level 3-4 gank IMO, so after your first back you have a good opportunity to either roam/TP to a lane for a kill if it meets the above criteria (a,b,c,d), or TP back to your lane to try and get the CS advantage back.

Leblanc currently holds the position for the WORST AVERAGE CS of any midlaner. So don't feel discouraged if it takes time, she is statistically the HARDEST champ to CS with.

Thanks for updating for season 8, I've been following this guide to learn Leblanc, and while I am really enjoying her, she's not easy to 1v1 early with. Also, Gunblade isn't on recommended, so until I read this (and some other guides) I found out WHY it's core, and it's so nice. Keep it up, thanks for the guide!

Leblanc's dueling is realllllllly bad pre level 3. So much so that I don't even poke with Q until I have that 7th minion in my sights to hit level 2. Even mid game her 1 v 1 potential rests on not being CC'd, and being able to dodge skillshots.

Her Cooldowns also make her early all-in 1v1 not too threatening, so your best bet is wait till 2-3 then start a good poke / trading routine where you try to chunk your enemy with q > aa (> aa if possible) when they step up to CS.

Then once they're low enough that you can all-in (3/4 -> 1/2 health) you have an easy approach with W > E > Q, or similar setup using E to gank for Jungle. Running Ignite also helps her 1v1 potential and the respect your opponent will give you levels 1-3, but teleport is really where it's at if you can manage it.

I too played leblanc most in s7 and i can say your champion matchups are completely wrong ahri and ekko are nowhere near the easiest matchups but maybe its just because you are gold 5 in na so you havent played against good players on those champions :P other than that its a ok guide
