I'd like to point out this thread and how poorly it reflects on MOBAFire, yet also shows how much of an impact these new champions can make on this site.
Not only does a thread like that draw false conclusions (as I tried to point out with my post on page 4), it also discourages new users from looking at MOBAFire for guides at all.
Just throwing that out there, and bringing the "vote limit" idea back up.
wow...that's horrible
Thanks to TRUeLM, Plastictree, Scrax, Xiaowiriamu, foggy12, JahGFX, jhoijhoi, msrobinson, JEFFY40HANDS, Nyoike, MissMaw, and me :) for the sigs!
What's worse is that the op is at +54. I know for a fact that myself, and certainly a few others, have given the OP a -1, so it's likely that at least 60 people have also given the OP a +1 - these 60 people have been to MOBAFire at least once and probably will not be returning.

...
*cries*
Yea, we need to do something about the spam of new champ guides the few days after the champs are released

Ah, you saw that thread too?
Really wish I could bump my post on there to the first page. Would be funny stuff for the OP.
Like I've posted before.
I think there should be a distribution type system for limiting vote spikes.
Something that tells users "Sorry, this guide has enough votes" (it's it's in rank 1~10) and "Please check out our other guides, they could really use some votes too"
This is also why I downvote (in reference to the "I don't downvote" thread)
When I'm browsing, and see new guides, downvote the troll/obviously-bad guides. Nip them in the bud before someone blindly upvotes.
