Hey Yasutsuna,
I found your guide today because I'm considering to pick up Sona into my Support Champion Pool again and check out where she's at. So maybe just let me ask straight away: What do you think - where's Sona in a support ranking of the typical ones?
Things I'd like to note down because they caught my eye: I love that you have pictures of Sona on your guide, it's making such a big difference compared to other guides that lack those. Really nice!
But maybe you could add some more traditional champs to your matchup/counter section like Lux, Rakan, Nami, Lulu ...
But you really put a lot of effort into this guide and it's amazing. Well done.

Was Plat 1? back in SEA, but that was three years ago. When I came to OCE, got really tired of climbing and hardly play ranked. Do still play norms so have a fair idea of whats still going on.

what do you think about taking resolve secondary (revitalize + font of life) for making Sona's heals and shields stronger?

Was testing out things to see if it works. I find that is a bit meh for Sona, since her only stun is her ultimate and her Power Chord E, which is somewhat useless in teamfights.

While is good, the problem is that it doesn't offer as much as the other runes. gives you much more. Furthermore, you'll most likely be building a lot of items with +% heal and shield bonus anyway.

But, if you're against a harder lane, you could opt for + since it gives you a bit of survival early on which can scale later on.

Hi, I really like your guide, especially AP Sona, as she has been my support main for quite sometime. :)

I have found it helpful to build as my first back, as it synergies well with the and I have almost no time to recall back to base unless I have too much gold on me. Basically, Sona's mana issues are nullified. :)

So I want to know your view on it, if it is viable to get and later upgrading it into an followed by a (for a total of 3200 Gold) ??? / (but not as a first main item), or are there other items with better potential ?

Honestly, I find that getting is redundant as the fully stacked as well as the mana regeneration from the support items or the Chalice is enough to keep your mana up, as long as you don't needlessly spam it.

As far as go, it's an alright item, but you need to remember that its somewhat useless until you upgrade it. The gold you spent can normally get you better items, so unless you have a lot of gold for some reason, it's normally better to get something else.

Hi, as much as I like your guide and explanation as what you prefer between absolute focus and transcendence, but I am surprised you've not considered the celerity in the build? just curious to why that is really. Also what do you think of the new changes to the resolve tree? I personally like the bone plating and the chrysalis in tank match ups but what do you prefer better?

I'm currently still working on the Celerity build although it doesn't seem very promising at this point. Currently, the one I'm working on involves a Tear where you can near permanent upkeep of Song of Celerity but still is a bit sketchy atm.

On the Resolve Tree, if I'm going for it, would go for Revitalise and Chrysalis. Bone plating requires you to get some form of HP for it to be useful otherwise you would still explode too fast. However, the Inspiration tree is currently really good as a secondary with the magical footwear and 5% CDR. Resolve isn't bad per se, it just gets outclassed by Inspiration at the moment.

i still really like the guide since i have said something in this guide but a long time ago but i was wondering if you are gonna add a version which ik sounds a bit stupid but just use celerity and full movement speed and i think it'd be another good addition to this already awesome guide but for Blue i see it's not completely full damage? i understand if that's how you want the guide to be but i could give you some ideas of how to make blue sona better that's all

Now that you mention it. I'm going to try out the Song of Celerity version and will get back to you.

Yes, Blue is not meant to be full damage version since the utility you provide will still be better. Also, this is due to not having the best AP Scaling. Always interested to see another point of view so I'm fair game.

trust me when i say this, poor scaling or not you can still do an absolute **** ton of damage with just alone so i understand still having the ability to still support but with blue it's really fun to just go straight up full damage
