I would like a Threat update. Many guides lack this.
For a beginner RAMMUS its good to know what to ban :) And who you hardcounter etc

Originally I had something like that written down but I wanted to make sure my sample size wasn't off for most interactions but every statistic I found online seemed to be off so I just left it like that until I have a more reliable source, though there is definitely stuff that can be said regarding synergies and hard counters.

For instance, Rammus can be played Top to hard counter Urgot's Purge and only very good players will recognize the interaction and play around it.

I'll be sure to update the guide whenever I get the chance to, hopefully next week!

Im a velkoz player, and on my threats list i just put it up as I encounter them, not as the internet think it should be.

Hey Kasugunai!

This is an awesome looking guide, it inspired me a lot to play more Rammus although i'm still pretty bad with him. xD

During your time playing Rammus have you ever considered going any other runes other than Aftershock, and if so, how did that feel? Was it reliable or is Aftershock just the best choice overall.

Thanks! I've tried other runes and Aftershock actually puts out more damage indirectly, the interaction with Defensive Ball Curl paired with Frenzying Taunt's Armor scaling nearly doubles your all in damage. With this in mind, only other utility runes could overtake Aftershock. Predator seems overkill and doesn't help with his other issues, not to mention Rammus benefits a lot more from the Resolve tree.

Thoughts on bloodrazor Rammus?

I've watched a lot of replays with this korean player: https://www.op.gg/summoner/userName=multidrive

And I have come to love this play style.

That's an interesting build and I guess it works fine in lower ranks where getting to a lead is easier so a damage build could carry harder but I highly doubt that'd be doable in high Diamond+. Feel free to play him as you want though, it's a unique playstyle for sure!

But then again, this Korean player spammed it to master during preseason and he is 61% win in D3 this season.

This big thing about this build is, that it gives Rammus solo control over drakes and rift heralds that noone expects.

Cinderhulk Rammus can do little on his own apart from enabling his teammates. Bloodrazor Rammus can solo drakes and heralds at 10 min and deal ridiculous damage midgame at the cost of being weaker pretty much only in full 5v5 fights imo.

He is trolling xD, jk.

Rammus gets a lot of AD from his passive and his E provides armor reduction.
It can make him a decent source of sustained damage so he is actually a threat to more durable targets. Also, it can speed up his clears (and damage to Dragon/Baron/Towers) significantly.
Still, i don't recommend it becuase you get more healing from your Ravenous Hunter with
Skirmisher's Sabre - Cinderhulk enchancement than Skirmisher's Sabre - Bloodrazor.

Rammus does not get AD from passive but extra on-hit magic damage equal to 10% Armor or 15% when W is active.

E does not provide Armor reduction any more, it was changed to attack speed 2 years ago on 7.10. read notes, man xD

I'm not sure Ravenous hunter synergizes better with cinderhulk over Bloodrazor, it depends whether you are on a single target or not. I only think cinderhulk gives more healing when you stand in the middle of a full minion wave.

What do you think about going Domination secondary tree and taking Ravenous Hunter? Personally i'm getting 10k+ healing almost every single match.

It's definitely an interesting rune but Rammus needs his Legend: Alacrity for clearing, I can't stress enough how important this rune is on him.

I was wondering how someone's first guide can be so well made, you've been around here for quite a long time, no?

Anyway, you did a really great job making this guide, its structure is well organized and and the language is simple yet informative. You could add a "Jungle clearing" section for people who struggle to effectively path the jungle.

Well, keep up updating this guide, it has great odds of becoming a top guide!
PS: Rammus with Conqueror IS OP, when you cast your ultimate you effectively become imortal during its duration.

Thank you for the kind words!

I started working on this guide around a month ago, every day I would improve some details here and there until I decided it was good enough to be released. I took inspiration from a few top guides here for its structure, I'm glad you liked it. :)

Regarding the jungle clear, I definitely rushed tbat section because I wanted the guide out before 9.4 and I'll update it this weekend if everything goes as planned!

Aftershock is simply better rune to go for.

Sure, I'm just saying it because I'm a off-meta researcher. My main off-meta is Kled ADC kkkkk
