Hello! I'm doing good thanks for asking.

Haven't vs'd much as of recent, but for that matchup I'd probably either go or . Grasp will give you stronger short trades especially since will usually root you when you engage and run away with his . You usually want to let him proc and when its down then engage on him. He is relatively squishy before he acquires so you should be able to wither him down bit by bit as long as you don't get poked by him through the wave. I'd just probably rock the standard build of into to keep up with him, but you can also throw in a for some magic resistance.

I personally run and try to go for just quick W's during lane, also baiting him to W and backstepping out of it and then walking up again. Make sure to deny him the healing off his blobs if possible since thats his main source of sustain. At 6 you have to be careful since his ult spawns a lot of blobs for him and also does a lot of damage. It's not a very good lane for imo but its winnable.

Hello! Don't think that item is something that wants since your ult CD isn't that problematic anyways, and you want ability haste for your normal abilities rather than only your ult.

hii!!! The new season has greatly changed the builds of many characters, including Jax. and I noticed that taam kench has become very hard for Jax, since without divin sunderer Jax lacks sustain and damage against it.what do you recommend buying, and basically what to do against this catfish?

Hello!

I haven't faced yet personally, so I can't say yet anything really other than I'd still probably go into since early on you can still kill him and afterwards just waveclear with Hydra.

I'm not sure about any of the shred items yet for . In some rare cases maybe is viable but I won't make any statements yet on that since I haven't tested much. Also in terms of sustain is a viable option.

Could jax use any of the new items like rageblade and go hybrid jax since now he has better AP ratios?

Really don't see working for since he has no HP while rushing it and you are also giving up on first item. If you go second, still have no HP to tank anything. At its best, it's probably a 4fun build you can do, but personally I don't see it.

Your guide is just loverly, my only thought is that maybe you want to build a color theme? pick a color, or a couple close colors, and consider even recoloring your item links. The idea being that your guide ends up with a more cohesive visual theme.

I still stick to the regular -> / -> situational basically just depending on what enemy team has. is pretty nice item even sometimes 2nd if you need to be the one engaging for your team since it will buy you time while your team follows your engage.

While it's true I preferred for a long time, my choice basically depends on what I'm laning vs and if they have multiple AP champions. If they have like 2-3 AP champions or more then I probably opt for , unless they are really behind and the game seems like a stomp then I might just go anyways. is fine if they have less AP damage since you can itemize things like vs singular AP champ or a fed AP champ.

got nerfed and you don't run because of the nerf on it as well, so its overall just worse these days. or is just far superior option these days since it gives good stats for laning and generally allows you to sustain and fight through your way for the first reset to buy if you need the extra sustain. Only difference is you have to be a bit more conservative with mana but that's why you take to help you with mana issues.

While is viable choice, I think is still just superior since it makes you a lot stronger in early lane phase and if you can't make use of then you opt for in matchups like and etc where you don't get extended trades.

is a situational item for . If you are doing the engaging for your team and your team doesn't really have proper follow up, or if you just need to buy time in general in fights then is a fine option.

Hello! I like your guide! I wanted to know something... Is still worthy to build AP with Jax currently? Since his AP ratios are pretty nice, I see his damage output is OP XD But I dont know if this kind of build stills being a good idea. Recently, I was playing as Jax and all my team were AD, so... I was thinking of this build can be good in this kind of situations or not, and stick to AD.

Hello!

The regular build is still superior to going AP build. The changes to basically just allow him to have a broader itemization and include some AP items in his regular build situationally like and . The laning and scaling to late game with AP build is just way harder than with the normal build, and you are relying on oneshotting a lot with the AP build.

I figured you may like to know: I did some testing with along with the offensive build, Blue Smite with Bloodrazor, Triforce and then and I was more satisfied with that overall. can be a little more squishy because of it, but gives a lot of damage and sustain so unless people can kite you effectively (like ), it seemed very good to me. After that I would get and the last item would depend on the game completely.

Personally, I liked it because, come mid to late game, I was a bit tankier and as long as I could fight people, I was able to last. Maybe I'll try swapping with and see if it works better, I only used it because u.gg had it there. This build probably works well because of , and from my games just feels weak by comparison. Of course, if you feel that tankier is better, you may be right, but since you didn't test I wanted to share my impressions.

Yeah I can see your points, I've just never personally liked Bloodrazor. Also while I think the new is certainly better in jg than the old , is still superior in that sense that you actually get use of it during early ganks, later in the game it falls off but allows your teammates to still do extra damage, while on the other hand would be a late game oriented keystone choice.

The thing is these things differ across different elos. In lower elo you get away with way different things than in the higher elos. I just always feel that squishy get's targeted and squashed really easily in higher elos while in Bronze-Gold I've just been able to go full damage and still not get targeted due to bad focus of enemies, so that's likely one of the reasons I've grown to like a more tanky-oriented .

Way I see it, I'm the odd one out here. Maybe the more offensive build works better with the way I play . You're probably right about tanky being better in higher elo, and despite me being low, I tested this in normal games where matchmaking can be more open and it worked. My point was to add my observations here in case it helps you add to the guide sometime in the future.

Yeah, at the end of the day, people should just play what works for them. There is no ''100% right'' way to play and people always discover something new/different that works for them while it doesn't work for others.

Anyways cool to have this more in-depth conversation, people don't often invest a lot of time and go this deep into testing stuff out so it's awesome to see you put the time and effort into this. Maybe I'll give Bloodrazor another go on a smurf account at some point and see how I fair with it, I've just grown so accustomed to Cinderhulk I almost automatically build it when jungling nowadays.

Eh, has been my favourite champion since I pretty much started playing. I take it upon me to test the different builds I find here to see how they work for me and to add my observations but it's special with , I'd be willing to try every build. Glad you appreciate that.
