If you wonder when it comes to warding totems/control wards/farsight etc. and if those count towards the challenge then no, they do not count. You have to build at least 3 items suggested by the guide and boots count towards the 3 items required. If it is support items like [[shard of true ice]] / [[black mist scythe]] / [[bulwark of the mountain]] or [[pauldrons of whiterock]] then those 4 count as they are the finished and complete support items. However, the items before those (like [[frostfang]] or [[spellthief's edge]]) does not count.[/quote]
