This one right here is relatively outdated though, I plan on bringing it back on the track somewhen this year ;)

Luden's Tempest is very complicated item. I replaced it for Nashor's Tooth for many different reasons. First Luden's Tempest is super expensive. Those 200 gold actually matters super hard in the mid game. Second of all a lot of money in Luden's Tempest is for the mana itself. You really don't need any additional mana pretty much ever and thus you pay additional gold for nothing, really. Next reason is just pure gold efficiency. Luden's Tempest has gold efifciency of ~95% while Nashor's Tooth has ~117% which is quite a lot more. Next are stats. Also Nashor's Tooth allows you to apply all stacks of Explosive Charge even without Rapid Fire even while kiting. This usually isn't possible without attack speed stats. The bonus attack speed also allows you to hide 1 AA after Buster Shot is fired which is almost impossible without of at least Stinger (this can actually matter a lot when you consider that that auto attack is probably empowered by Lich Bane). Nashor's Tooth also allows you to control waves a lot better as Luden's Tempest basically makes it "push or get pushed" while Nashor's Tooth brings you more options like fast pushing or slow pushing, freezing, etc. Also Nashor's Tooth on-hit AP damage allows you to trigger Morellonomicon grievous wounds solely with auto attacks. I mean how OP is that? :D

As you can see there are simply way too many reasons to buy Nashor's Tooth over Luden's Tempest. Yes I can see some cases when you can sell your cheaper tools and buy Luden's Tempest during complete fullbuild, but that overall seems very impractical to me :/
