First I'd like to start by saying my boyfriend and I are big fans of your videos. He got me into the game last year and I have been hooked and trying to get better. When Lillia came out, I didn't expect to find a new main and have reached level 5 mastery with her and 70% winrate within a few days. I was looking at guides to find the best to try and found yours, and oh my gosh - it is genius!! Building Hextech Protobelt is just genius and it's such a great first build.
I have a few questions, I actually just made this account to comment on this guide despite using Mobafire for months now.
After building Hextech, what do you recommend to build next? I usually go to Luden's, but if I need more health is Liandry's acceptable for second?
What are your thoughts on swapping Scorch for Gathering Storm? So far this build seems perfect but I was wondering if any scaling runes would work with it.
Do you think these items could work with a Dark Harvest rune page as well? Although it's hard to beat Arcane Comet. It is SO fun and good on her.

First of all thanks for your amazing support 💙 And glad to hear that you got such fun playing this MONSTER!!
So the build created with a way to make you have enough sustain to survive from early to late game through the combination of AP-HP-EFFECTS items!! Most of the times we will choose Proto-> Echo-> Liandrys build, cause Luden's Tempest will give you something that we cant resist, AP-MANA-BURST DAMAGE but most importantly 20% CDR, that means instantly at this point you got 40% with protobelt plus of course the Transcendence and why its important to have this combo of item? Cause Lillia with her low CD skills and 40% CDR means that you will literally spam your skills non-stop and you already know what will happen by doing that!!!
We cant swap the runes with anything else, especially Arcane Comet that is the most powerful rune in the game for Lillia that will make it have zero seconds CD in full late game and make you do insane damage, in each Lillia game, the damage that Arcane Comet did was over 3000 every time. Dark Harvest is a super WEAK early to late game with insanely high CD rune, with lots of "IFS" to work, will have enough stacks? Will you fully use it late game? Will you have the TIME to stack it and utilize the damage? The answer is NO, you wont, there are few champions that Dark Harvest work and for sure is not Lillia that will use every single one of the Sorcery runes tree to maximize her damage and utility!!
Lets talk about Scorch now, scorch will be activated 1 second after damaging the target and will be used from level 1, that means you will start USING IT from early till late game, overall Scorch working great with Liandry's Torment cause it got 1 sec delay to apply the damage, so that means it will keep the effect of the item for at least 2 seconds longer! Of course Lillia got her passive for that, but STILL, its a rune that you can use from super early apply damage and help you dominate your lane! Most of the games wont go past 20-25minutes so you wont fully use Gathering Storm this rune is EXCEPTIONAL for LCS, WORLDS etc. that no one will surrender and they will stay till the end. For SoloQ? Not at all, especially while people surrendering at 20 mins of the game so you need to make sure you will destroy all GOOD ENOUGH for not them to do so hahahaha
So, you can for sure go for second item Liandry's Torment thats why I got it as build version and I already tested it, its fun, you will do damage, you will have more sustain and of course double burn effect from early, BUT, you wont have the 40% CDR that the other combo got plus of course the burst damage, you already got enough HP with the 3 dorans and protobelt, so try testing more the Luden's Tempest version and in the end choose what you like the most 💙

If you go for an APC, be sure to have a support like Leona or Nautilus to CC the targets away from you, or even better keep them at one place to spam your Q all the time!
Overall Lillia will work incredible good with high CC teams, cause simply you will have the time that you need to apply the damage to all the targets and cause of your passive and liandrys this damage will be a little TOO BIG for them to handle!!!

Knowledge is a strange thing, you think you go it, but in the end you got much more to learn!
I could easily let you explain yourself why and who teaching you this kind of stuff that the most powerful rune in the game that is Arcane Comet cant be used as jungler, but I will answer this myself!
The way of how Lillia works, her ability to spam her Q and overall her skills all the time and her passive Dream-Laden Bough will let you reduce the CD of Arcane Comet all the time, if you didnt know, meteor CD can be reduced and in late game, for Lillia can be a rune that can be used EVERY 1 SECOND or even less than that!
Here is the part of the guide that you didnt bother to read that I am explaining about Arcane Comet
Arcane Comet The STRONGEST Rune that you can possible play in this game for Lillia and cause of how her skills works!
Effect: Damaging an enemy champion with an ability hurls an Arcane Comet at their current location, dealing 30 − 100 (based on level) (+ 35% bonus AD) (+ 20% AP) magic damage after a brief delay with 8 SECONDS RUNE CD
Damaging enemy champions with an ability reduces the remaining cooldown.
Single target: 20%
Area of effect / Bouncing Blade Multi-hit : 10% per enemy hit
Damage over time: 5%
That means you will literally reduce its CD and use it again and again NON-STOP, even your passive is going to reduce its CD, plus of course your Q-W-E-R, that means in full late game, the CD of this rune with a simple combo just as E-W-Q will be ZERO SECONDS, yeah, you heard that right, zero seconds CD for arcane comet, that means you will do 100 + 20% of your AP dmg every single second that you using your skills!

It's "remaining cooldown" Bal. Not total cd
So it won't reach 0s cd.
Example, you proc it with an unknown skill, it'd got 8s CD.
With your E+W+Q+protobelt you get 4 times 10%, and for each skills, you get 3 times 5% with your passive.
You will get, but not straight up 8*(1-0.4-0.15)=3.6, but 8 * (1-0.1)^4 * (1-0.05)^3 ~ 4.5 sec.
In laning phase, Arcane is great for poking.
But in jungle, for ganking, Electrocute, Dark Harvest, ... is easily obtainable with each ganks.
Even with low CD in Arcane Comet, it would only be good in the EXTREMELY LATE game, and your gank early is like, not having much dmg at all, with only 2 soft cc is your W and E to slow, so I really don't recommend it.
And also, something to mention, in some of your other guides, I don't recommend Grasps when you taking the champ as Support (Shen, Tahm, Naut, ...), becuz you don't have much room to trade each 4sec with aa like in top lane, you only get in when you got full combo to all-in, which results only getting like 1, or at most 2 time Grasps is activated, if you went up to trade, it can be your death. So Aftershock for more sustain after CC (at which all of the champions above have at least 1 hard CC), or Guardian to protect your ADC is so much more beneficial.
you need to also calculate the time between doing this combos that the cooldown of the skill will still running, that means in absolute numbers yeah, with all the combo you will reduce the CD of the skill by 5 seconds in FULL LATE GAME, but to do the combo you also need a certain amount of time. The moment you will finish it, the remaining seconds of Arcane Comet will be 1 second, the CD of your Q alone is 2.5 seconds, that means you will also have it again to use it and reduce the CD of the Arcane Comet for one more time and instantly activate it.
You need to also calculate in the reduction of the Arcane Comet the following items:
Liandry's Torment burn over time effect and Luden's Tempest active effect!
What I am saying above is completely right cause is both in THEORY and PRACTICE tested, the full late game CD of your Arcane Comet will literally be ZERO SECONDS, cause you are forgetting one simple thing, this "CD reduction" apply for multiple targets, that means 1 Q can hit 5 members and apply Dream-Laden Bough on every champion and reduce the CD even further.
Also while choosing a runes tree is not about the "keystone" only, but the combination of all the runes that you are using.
Lillia is a special case here, making Arcane Comet to work on HER BETTER than all, no matter what, early or full late game, Arcane Comet will be FAR MORE SUPERIOR, if you care, I can prove it to you with math as well, cause it seems you are calculating some things on your own!
Remember one thing, Electrocute and Dark Harvest got certain amount of CD, Arcane Comet doesn't have something like that 💙
