[/quote] ArP lux? o_O Chaotic, I'd like to see your ideas for the new Ryze. I've been playing him a lot lately, and I feel he's very limited since he scales off Mana, most builds have the exact same items for him, only in different orders. I've been trying to play him hybrid with an emphasis on mana in the beginning, but I'm not sure where to go if it's viable. From what I've seen, he can't attack and use his spells at the same time, which is a problem with his overall repeating of casting spells.[/quote]

The most simple way of narrowing it down is to look at the abilities of a champion. If they have one or more abilities that scale with AD or AS then they are almost definitely best built with AD. Same thing with AP. Just look at morg. She doesn't have a single ability that scales with AD and 5 that scales with AP(yes, her passive heals more with more AP). Now tell me AD morg doesn't scream wasted potential...
