i am sure this has already been discussed. I just didnt find it. (didnt look very hard though). Which is just better. I am trying to get into AD EZ and everyone says i should get an early brut. i hate to waste the gold because i later sell it for something else. Should i just finish yoyo and stick with it or should i grab lw to hit tanks harder. If there is a different option include that as well

Thanks

I'd say grab LW. Sheen-LW-Triforce is pretty solid. So is Sheen-IE-LW. Voyboy doesn't use LW at all when playing Ez though.

Since Ez is a ranged champ going for yoyo is useless imho (the proc works only on melee hits). Waste of space. I would rather go for stark for flat ArP.

Stark is kinda bad stat wise on carries. Yoyo is better stat wise even without the active. LW is usually better than Yoyo if you face normal amounts of armor.

I usually play Ezreal without a lategame ArP item tho. Since he has lots of physical and magical damage the way I build him. (with Madred's Bloodrazor)

For instance this is my usual build

1. Sapphire Crystal + 2 pot
2. Sheen Rush
3. Beserkers Greaves
4. Brut
5. Piece together Trinity Force depending on who im laning against
6. IE
7. Black Cleaver
8. Bloodthirster
9. Sell Brut buy Banshees
10. Sell boots for a PD

I end up critting around 1000 82% of the time. I have high AS and i melt people extremely quickly. I have trouble with tanks though. I know its expensive but i usually farm like a boss. I have looked at the top EZ builds and they are a little different than mine. Why Bloodrazer versus an ArP?. Which will do better at that level of the game.

Madred's Bloodrazor is a very underestimated item on Ez. His Q also deals 4% of the enemy hp with it. It's way stronger than a Black Cleaver in pretty much all ways.

IE is kind of a bad item on Ez. His Q can't crit. You should get some other AD item. Maybe Manamune? (rush it instead of the Sheen then. Will help loads with mana trouble)

i just dont know if i can stomach that last response. I only use my abilities to build my passive or poke. I dont really use them to DPS end game. IE is amazing.

Ez doesn't have mana troubles if you play smart and run scaling mana regen runes.

Sheen-LW-Triforce is extremely strong on him.

Ezreal is a champion that can't normally beat an enemy in a 1v1 situation due to bad base stats. That why he in my opinion needs to use his abilities often to gain the advantage. Manamune keeps his mana from ever running out and gives a fair amount of AD too, all for almost half the price of an IE. It does ofc give a little less damage than IE on abilites, but the bonus mana makes it all worth it.

If you're playing Ez without using abilities much; you're playing wrong..
You'll need some source of mana-reg. Either utility masteries+MP5 seals or a Manamune.
