Yep. This is the mindset you should have going into ranked. "Play to fit the team comp" No **** you. You can't rely on your team solo queue ever.
Also, I'm guessing ELO improves over time as I started off playing this game and I had like 30 losses more than wins but since then I've kept a consistent 50wins above losses. Playing more and more games in Ranked will eventually get you to where your normal games are at.

Well jungling takes more work than lane to win games. I strongly suggest learning solo lane champs instead. It will make carrying yourself SO much easier. be selfish with lanes too. its counter intuitive but honestly if ur a pushover in champ select youll never get better elo. this is assuming ur actually GOOD of course.
exactly what people said.
the lesson is: always be selfish unless you are duo queueing with someone who can help you win. the more you be a ***** of other players in ranked, the more you are going to get fked over. plus, no one will appreciate your "teamplay" efforts cause they are too noob to see anything beyond k/d/a.

I don't see how Hotshot got so high ELO, I haven't seen him go positive in a single streamed game out of about 10. Might just be back timing though.
Solo queue wise, I find the best bet is to take a friend who can solo lane then jungle as Warwick. I've won about 7 in a row so far like that.
