Yeah Tank Kat how I build in this is no where near as destructive as AP Kat, but in all honesty for any Kat player. Once you play AP Kat and got her down and understand how to make her shine and carry .... it gets ... pretty boring =/ ... and AD Kat can be very expensive .... so i tried a Tank idea and worked out nicely too ... sure i didnt get the results and kills that I would have with AP Kat ... but i can say one thing when your 5000 HP and above .. u can sit under their towers and do as u plz and just laugh at their lack of damage they have to kill you ... only time i have ever died with Tank Kat was 2 reasons .. 5v1 ... or Jumping in their Fountain and being lAzered lolol ... but glad u enjoyed it :)

Very fun build. I've played Kat a lot and never even thought of using her as a tank until i saw this but i tried it out and its definitely not AP Kat but still very fun you get a +1 from me.

I have seen Luc play Katarina with this build, and I have to say that it DOES rape face. Not only is she able to tear the enemy team apart.. it's hard for them to take her down due to her armor and health..

Thanks, i find the build pretty funny when I use it ... AP Katarina is better because of the destructive burst damage .. and AD Katarina can be good if u can don't get focused down, but Tank Katarina pretty much allows you to do as you please and still deal tons of damage. Yeah i know 2 Warmogs are a bit much but really only thing (at the moment) i can find useful since the nerf to Sunfire Capes ... loved it when u could just stacks 5 of those .... but thanks for the vote lol maybe try it when ur bored, you be surprised the scores u get ... ( Iam still surprised to even go positive - but i do everytime i build this)

I +1ed for the sheer fact that this is very imaginative ^_^ I also appreciate how you mention you usually go AP Kat, which is economically better than AD or hybrid ;). However, if you must go tank Kat (??????????????) I guess this is the way to do it. Except, the two Warmogs...I know it feeds the Atma's...but only for, when the Warmog's is maxed out, 28 AD rounded up (yes I calculated this). And for nearly 4000 gold, there are so many better items to get for tankiness or AD at that price or cheaper.

The thing is you are using it ... Her Ultimate scales with AD and AP, that is why I make it mandatory to grab Atma's Impaler. With this Item you are allowed to stack large amounts of Health and Armor making you pretty much of a TANK but giving you the AD DPS to your Bouncing Blade and Death Lotus. The only thing that does not benefit from this build is her Shunpo. Honestly I am starting to think this is more viable then Straight AP xD ... because I made this build to counter heavy CC teams, with makes Katarina useless ... if she cant Spin .. she cant Win .. but when u build tank .. they then have to choose ... target her and die? from unable to kill her while ur team rapes them .... or forget her and let her face roll you. The builds doesn't turn her into a HUGE nuke like AP does, but the AD you gain is more then enough in my opinion to get the necesary kills and assists (via the scores i posted)

hmmm i lik to play wierd unusual builds lik ad sona and pump people hard however this build in my opinion destroys katrina's soul purpose on a team which is to wait for an aoe trap lik kennen stun amumu ult any taunt or even jarvan than sunpo in and press r for victory. her ulty is op so why woulld u not use it? my opinion anyway....

Well the point of the 2 Warmogs is to Feed the Atmas's Impaler ... Guardian Angel does not give HP, this build is revolved around HP so that your Atma's can give AD Stacks to allow your Daggers to hit harder, because if you don't get the AD, then she becomes just a meat shield ... So Banshee's and Guardian wouldnt fill that gap of damage needed so that she can be viable in team fights ... the only reason i will not pick them. So 2 Warmogs is necesary but any more is over kill as you won't have Armor to help ... alos no point getting MR ... when you have 5400 + Health, there is no Mage in the game that can full burst that down ...
