Anyone else think this is terrible? My friend whom played Gangplank in a game could do **** all with with his ulti, i'd like the old one back anyday. What does everyone else think?

It's a new CV with a slow, Parrrley does more now. They pretty much made GP useless, with not much team utility at all. Sure his ult is a slow, but it's pitiful at best. They could've at least made it like 50%. The range nerf was bad. They pretty much just told GP players to **** off and get over it.

i think it really is ******ed. it used to be an ok ult but they reduced the size and the slow too much.

sure it slows you down just for being in it but the slow is so insignificant and the aoe is so small people can easily leave without being hit by a single canonball.

They held back a lot with the changes because they weren't sure just how much removing Deny would nerf him.

Parrley's CD doesn't make up for the damage nerf; gold-bonus was nerfed, though cooldowns might compensate enough with more last-hits.

Remove Scurvy straight out nerfed.

Raise Morale's passive doesn't help much, but at least the active is nice.

Ult is worthless. The consistency doesn't matter when people barely get hit once with nerfed cannonballs and can generally blink/dash out.

My thoughts as an occasional GP player:

With the deny function removed, I've resorted to either constant harassment or last hitting with Q. I personally have a Crit rune page for him, if it crits, still deals some nice damage.

His Remove Scurvy was buffed for early game and nerfed for late game, personally don't like the change.

Passive for Raise Moral is **** now, active is ok, helps to take down towers without costing the push a minion, but should honestly last longer.

I've been known for placing his ult REALLY well, I still can, but I feel like its absolutely WORTHLESS. Since it's just terrible in team fights now (unless in an AOE team comp with stuns/taunts), I tend to use it more to clear large enemy minion waves which it in fact does very effectively, and for the occasional free CV for baron/dragon.

...If they leave him the way he is now, I'm not sure what his new role is going to be. I've heard a few rumblings of Tankplank success, but other than that most people don't like the changes.

I feel that it has become stronger late game... well atleast with my new build which involves spirit visage...

I use his ultimate to push lanes and farm hordes of minions

It's an overall buff on Remove Scurvy. It not heals more at all levels except for the last one.

Am I the only one who loves GP now? xD

My first gams with Fiddle and GP after the new patch - I like the changes. GP get's so fed from creeps, when just lasthitting with Q. I ended up critting 1300 every 3.5th second.
