Well, Jet speaks the truth. Sacrificing health and some AD for 9% more lifesteal is pretty bad. Especially on Sivir.
History is the fiction we invent to persuade ourselves that events are knowable and that life has order and direction. That's why events are always reinterpreted when values change. We need new versions of history to allow for our current prejudices.

Spending extra gold to get an item that I'll just sell later seems like a waste, just saying. If I can start with a vampiric scepter and build it into a bloodthirster after my boots I just saved time and gold.
