You do some nice work. I can do stuff in photoshop but usually I fail at being creative with the background and also terrible is the font/color/blendig options on the text, i really suck at that.
So how do you start? how do you choose/make your backgrouds? you start with alot of brushing?
I really like this style with alot of chaos in it ;)
I personally prefer sigs with less heigth cause it's annoying when sigs take away half your screen in forum posts ;)

I have a video showing one of my ways in which i do my backgrounds.
I usually just use the images background to begin with
if not:
- i choose a nebula wallpaper
- smudge the render out for the background
blending comes naturally to me i suppose the best way to learn is to keep practising, its hard to say how to blend, one method however is smudging with a soft brush or going around the render with a 1px feather to give it a fade effect.
For the font, i usually struggle on this, but recently i've done pretty well... most my fonts are fitting for the signature, for example if the signature is "soft" as shown in
ill use a big block font at smooth and just lightly decrease opacity, with a 5px by 5px drop shadow and some gradient overlay.
Also nice sig, i've seen you post that on another thread and also the blitz, you got a similar style to canoas in terms of composition. However i know you're only just starting, as when i first started signatures i would toggle with the motion blur etc and also use similar style of text. If you want to improve, especially focal and lighting try look up some advanced tutorials, follow it slowly, don't hesistate if it's long, and hopefully after 2~3 of advanced tutorials itll just come to you and you'll remember it. Furthermore, i have a nice resource thread you can check out ^_^

If you're really not busy, and feel like it (definitely don't worry if you don't feel like it), could you pretty please make me two signatures? I really admire your work, and would love to have some of your manipulations in my guides/in my signatures.
