Yeah, they did. What I meant, was, I wish they extended it, to, say, 26 episodes, and just had more. The characters didn't seem as developed as I'd have liked them to be.
Forgot which episode 4 is, is it the one on the beach?
It's the mutilation episode :P
El Psy Congroo.

Believe me, Code Ge*** was amazing.
Indeed it is... if you ask me it's a must watch.
Lately i've been going thro oldies. Finished watching Hunter x Hunter and also finished Black Cat.
Moving on to King of Bandit Jing :)
Disclaimer: I don't read manga... only watch anime :P

Hmm, maybe I should watch it. I loved the manga (same story).
Are the animations good?
Funimation, it's very high quality.
Great Anime I've seen:
Soul Eater: Masterpiece. The funniest anime I've seen in my life, although it sadly tapers off in the last episodes. Crona, Stein, and DTK are the best three characters I've seen in any anime. Characters in this are unique and absolutely awesome.
FMA Brotherhood: See above. I love the concept of alchemy, very cool with a great storyline involving a very real subject; military corruptness. Loved it, although this one also gets somewhat... Odd for the last few episodes.
Manga I'm reading:
Soul Eater. The manga is apparently a lot better than the anime once you get to chapter 35-40 or so. I'm currently on chapter 29 and it's been pretty damn good.
Any recommendations for me? I don't like Naruto or Bleach (although Bleach is somewhat funny) or most of the more popular animes. I've heard some good things about Claymore though, is it any good? (In anime form)
Claymore seems to be less humor, I'm okay with that but what I loved about Soul Eater was how much humor they managed to cram into such a great storyline. The last episode may have not been my favorite but that anime still gets a 9/10 from me.

Funimation? Funimation does no animation work... as far as I know the animation studio was Bones (which is usually quite good) - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=creator&creatorid=755
I'd say you should watch:
- Code Ge*** (R1 and R2 - 25 eps each)
- X TV (2001)
- Detroit Metal City (weird, 10 minute episodes - quick view)
- Vandread (1st and 2nd stage - 13 eps each)
- Black Lagoon (both seasons - 12 eps each)
I prolly bet you've already seen these but it's a must for everyone:
- FLCL (Furi Kuri - 6 episodes)
- Cowboy Bebop
- Trigun
Regarding movies i'd strongly advise:
- Sword of the Stranger

LOL I haven't seen any of those. I'm fairly new to anime.
As for the Funimation/Bones thing, that was just me failing since I remembered that both FMA and SE were made by it so I figured it was probably the artist :S
Anyway, Bones made the characters from SE much more awesome looking than they did in the manga (although the manga slowly changes to that style)
