[/quote] If you're laning against Jax, you're probably solo top. Which means... A)You're a tanky DPS who could use a Thornmail quite well. B)You're an AP carry who shouldn't have a problem harrassing Jax. If you're a solo top offtank, many champions have some sort of ranged harrass ability (Think Jarvan's poke). Irelia, Jax and Renekton all require getting quite close to offer any sort of aggression. Just harrass them when they try to last-hit and back off when they get too close. Easier in theory of course. Morde's a whole different story though. His shield makes him very different to harrass unless you have a lot of range or are really good with hitting him before he powers his shield. I personally hate laning against morde, and mostly just try to hold my tower and keep farming without dying. Late game he gets easier to focus in a team, unless he's very fed.[/quote]
