Okay heres my riddle if no one wants to

A basket contains 5 apples. Do you know how to divide them among 5 kids so that each one has an apple and one apple stays in the basket?
What's red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet at the same time? Rainbow

Cut 4 of them into 5 pieces and give 4 pieces to each kid.
Or just give 4 of them apples and one kid gets screwed.

EDIT: Wait, you could give 1 to each of 4 kids and have the fifth hold the basket with the last apple!
