I'd like that Udyr clone. There haven't as many situational champions. Orianna is the most recent and Udyr is just old.
Lee Sin and Nidalee are the closest we're getting and I'd love to see someone with that many skills. Make people think instead of just running in mashing keys like a moron.

Trinity Force is good on champions like Ezreal and Corki.
It's just specific high-base AD tanky dps that are being individual isolated problem children.

Well if they hit the Sheen like passive on Tri-force I'm okay with it. Twisted Fate still ought to be able to make good use of it.

But then you'd be nerfing champions too and quite a few of them probably don't deserve nerfs.

I'm suggesting only nerfing those champions. I'm not supporting a TriForce nerf, just expecting one.
If you lower a champion's base damage (or base scaling) it only hurts their synergy involving base-damage related features.
Last-hitting won't be affected either, as we're only talking about reducing it to 10~15% below the average. I don't know the exactly number, but it's like going from 54 to 49. You're still going to be able to last-hit after 1 game of adjusting to the new amount.
And a standardized number wouldn't be the easiest way. It's just the easiest way you came up with on your own.
That method would actually require extensive testing under Riot's time because you're asking for the mechanic to be completely altered. (Changing entire mechanic codes can always have unforeseen effects because the codes are all so interrelated, unlike a champion's personal base AD)
In my opinion, simpler way here would be actually looking at whose good with TriForce, deciding whose abusive, and reducing their base AD to something closer to Riven.
Therefore, Trinity Force and Sheen stays strong for champions like Twisted Fate and Ezreal, but are only optionally viable routes for tanky dps characters in question like Irelia. (Meaning, they could still use TriForce, but it's not as strong and other builds such as raw AD would be equally or even more appealing)
The only thing required of Riot from this would be to look over the new base AD and scaling to ensure it doesn't render the champion unable to last-hit, and see how it plays out on live.

That forumla seems like just a champion's base damage + level scaling. I see no point.
Most tanky melee champions have 110-120 base AD at lvl18. That's 165-180 extra damage.
My suggestion would fix it at 150 for all champions at lvl18.
That is a trinity force nerf for champions above 100 base AD.
