It shouldn't, but neither should Jax's ult if you're following the standard guidelines of spell vamp.
Spell Vamp works only on ACTIVATED spells and neither of those are. Kog'Maw's
Bio-Arcane Barrage doesn't work with spell vamp for example. (spell vamp works with Smite though :D )So unless there's some kind of strange exception it shouldn't work.

They're both physical damage, that's why they benefit from life steal.
