I came to a resoluion that I will be using Vladimir each game on Solo top.
The thing is that all Solo Tops or most of them are restricted to be close range to get in a fight/use mana, which ends, aye?

So I was thinking, hey, Vladimir is probably getting a little buff next patch (or so I heard at least). Why not try?

Pros:
- Easy farming and poking.
- Farmed Vlad = deadly Vlad.
- Escapes ganks, always. Sanguine Pool nuff said
- 1on1 against a Melee DPS? Sanguine Pool
- Pew Pew on the highest level, that range.
- Able to turn a gank into a gain. Hemoplague
- No mana, best sustainability in the game (or the top one)
- Low CD Nuke

Cons:
- Lackluster early game
- You need to poke with Auto-attack, ********, thing is hard with Vladimir.
- You must last-hit ****ingly amazingly well, so you can spam Transfusion on the enemy
- May get QQ'd by your team

All in all, Vladimir is a Tanky DPS, just in the Mage way, he is more reliable than Swain for this sole, sure, he doesn't bring as much CC as we would like but he fullfills his role with AP Nuke Carry and Jungler along with Hemoplague's damage increasement, which hurts (somehow I'm starting to see it).

What are your thoughts? Is Vladimir really able to wreck havoc on Solo Top meta?

Got farmed against Nasus (well, he got some farm too, I can't say no, but still, 16 minutes Rabadon started to rape ***es at ganks). And I doesn't need a Teleport thanks to Transfusion and sometimes rushed Hextech Revolver.
Here is what I got last game,

The only problem is that his Q has a huge CD in early lvls, so you are obligated to be careful and maybe hug the tower the whole time.

But excluding that, he's OK to solo top, he can stay there for a long time using Transfusion and nuke well with his other skills too.

From what I recall it was even on these forums, it was merely just a little rumor i may have overseen yet it came across me.

I'd switch lanes and send a strong ranged or AP champ top if I saw Vlad up there. Transfusion's CD is long enough that a champion like Annie (who has a mana sustain passive) or Vayne (who has high mobility and strong burst damage)or Caitly (who has long range poke and traps) can poke you 2 or 3 times before you can transfuse again. I'm not saying he wouldn't be a strong solo top, but in all seriousness his early game is poor and (until we see what POSSIBLE buffs he may be getting) he can simply be poked to death before level ~8-9. Annie could probably do the best job considering her stun will nullify your troll pool long enough to get some additive damage on you.

But that's me, everyone else would ***** that I'm "breaking the meta"

I hate the meta. Personally, I'd send some ranged AD champ top if top was someone with a weak early game. They're typically melee anyway so, ranged would have a huge advantage over them. I mean, they'd make up for it later game but, it's late game. They should have almost full build, not half.

Vlad would probably get dominated by a champ like Gragas, simple poke, easy sustain (Gragas' Passive) it's not a weak strat but Vlad can be easily counter picked by strong early gamers.

I dunno how he would do solo top, but he was considered a good pick to solo top about 6-10 months ago (Don't remember exactly) when AD's were mid and AP's were top. Kennen was sent top a lot as well in that time, which is probably who I would use to counter Vlad in a solo.
