Which champion should I buy? Should I get XXX...

GP is fairly versatile, he excels at both jungler and solo-top roles (he can do other roles, but I feel those are his two standouts). Gragas is a little less versatile, but he's also got multiple paths, either as the AP nuker or as a tank (AP of course being the most common, and probably the best way to build him). If you like to jungle on occasion, I'd go for GP first. If you like playing mid-lane a lot, Gragas first. --- Question of my own here, now. So I main Irelia, myself. Huge fan of her ability to be both tanky and bursty all in one neat little package; I like playing as the solo lane a lot, preferably solo-top, though I also enjoy solo-mid and the occasional jungle. For a bit of reference, my usual choices in the jungle are Tryndamere and Nocturne; Tryn for his ability to avoid death like crazy, Nocturne for his ability to stifle counterattacks while he bursts. I seem to have an affinity for champions that are both durable - either via tankiness or defensive skills - and have burst capability, and/or CC to secure a kill. "Tanky DPS" with a focus more on the DPS, I suppose. Irelia's passive ability to shrug off CC is also a godsend for me, since I tend to overextend a bit when I'm playing aggressively. Who are good champions within this role that I should be looking at? Right now, Jarvan IV has my eye, as he's similar to Irelia; however, I don't know how his DPS stacks up to Irelias (I just know he's more tanky and has good damage). Renekton is another one I'm considering, though the reverse here; I'm not sure if he's durable enough, but I know his damage is definitely high. (played him once before, but it was versus bots, so I never had a chance to really see how tanky he was.) [b]TL;DR:[/b] I like Irelia for her burst damage and durability. Is Jarvan IV similar, or is he going to be too tanky with not enough damage for my tastes? What about Renekton? Out of the two, which one's a better choice for someone who enjoys solo-top Irelia (and are there any other options that might fit)?[/quote]
