General Sion Advice

He's also very survivable, able to survive ganks with his shield and stun (and natural tankiness), which is important for the most vulnerable lane in the game. Building some health and a lot of resistances (along with AD items) makes him an excellent offtank, and a pretty decent initiator. I'm pretty sure he's fairly viable. I prefer hard resistance items like Frozen Heart or Randuins and Force Of Nature. For damage, trinity force with your choice of I.E or Atma's will be plenty.
