Having said that, I still feel like I need to repeat this:
A build that 'works' doesn't have to be optimal.
Obviously this works for you but I think that's largely down to your level of skill.
I still won't upvote, but I wish you the best of luck on getting a high rating with his guide ;)

On the 3/12/26 match, I tied our
The skill sequence section also seems new to me (or maybe I just missed it, not sure). Must say the early game AP won't affect your heal that much (only 0.2 AP ratio), I would focus on explaining why maxing
I will keep an eye on the guide during the next couple of days for any further changes ;)
To be honest, it wasn't the comment I expected (no offense) since we didn't ehm... react really friendly to each other at first. I was expecting more of an 'OMG Y U NO TRY AND THEN REACT' kind of reply lol.
Even though I don't fully agree with your choices I must say you have at least explained them very well. The
While using
The fact that you don't generally have to buy a lot of wards is great and partly explains how you can build the items you've listed without farming, but the team you describe is of course very situational. If you're making a guide and you don't often buy wards because you often have
The same, of course, goes for
In fact, I would strongly recommend adding sections to this guide. Now I know you haven't done a lot with my earlier recommendations (xD) but if you want to prevent having the same discussion that you had with me with other people that will read this guide, do this. List alternative runes, summoner spells, items, talk about what you think are viable choices and what are not (and why, of course). Describe what you would do if there's not a Teemo and TF in your team (more wards?
Also, add a section about your general mindset. Leveling your
Finally, I would really suggest using icons, not only in your guide but also in the walls of text like the one you just typed... Please? :)
I won't upvote the guide because I simply disagree with your view on
Don't worry mate, I'll post some 5v5 Match Histories of Alistar, you have it set in your mind, that this build won't work, can't work
A build that 'works' doesn't have to be optimal. I'm sharing my view (and probably the general view of most of the community, to be honest) with you on how to play supports. Generally, they buy items that will let them reach the 40% cooldown reduction cap and if they buy tanky items it's generally
and I mean wow, 515 ip, x 3 is 1545 ip, for the most newbest runes in the game. Gold quientences, you don't need them, it is a waste of your quint slots, 1 gold generating item is plenty for you to get the gold you need.
You don't have to be a fan of the quintessences and if you feel like you get enough gold not to need them, fine. But don't lie. This is simply ********, it really is. You think they're bad because you personally have no experience with them and you feel like they won't help you, while in fact over the course of the game they will generate quite a big amount of gold for you and can really help.
Now when I am in lane w/ someone, and you haven't played w/ me, you don't realize this, I allow them to farm creeps, I get my gold while they are shopping, or while they are setting up for the gank, I lane w/ the team gank, so I'm not stealing any gold from my team mates, once again you have made assumptions about how things work, and you are clearly wrong w/ your assumptions, there for you are making opinions, and we both disagree with one another's opinions, but I can respect that.
First of all, it's good that you don't steal creeps from your carry. That's good, really.
Still, your guide says that you shouldn't believe people when they say Alistar can't farm. Again, this isn't necessarily wrong, but you shouldn't farm when you're laning with the AD carry. It's good that you know this, but you might want to add this to the guide because right now you're only encouraging Alistar players to farm when they sometimes shouldn't.
Also, the amount of times that my teammate in lane recalls when I'm
I'm not wrong in my assumptions, I make them based on my experience (and trust me I have a lot of experience with
The fact that you are even scared to attempt the build, shows how locked into your own way of thinking and stubbornness that you are. The reason why I invite people to look at my builds, is because I have a unique way of thinking, a unique way of playing the game, and I think way outside of the box. I offer a different option to playing a champion that most people haven't thought of. My goal is to help people branch out in there horizons, and also help people that are new to the game get there foot in the door to not only playing, but playing well. Playing there champ effectively. I also take help a step further, I arrange times where I can meet people on the game, play a couple of matches w/ them, showing exactly how I play, what I do, when and where I do it, and then I play a couple of matches w/ them playing the character, and myself laning w/ them helping them when they make a mistake, and assisting them as and when they need. I am trying to help build up our League of Legends community in a positive way. Now I'm not sure, what brings about so much negativity from you, but that's up to you to figure out what is the cause of that outlook on life, and ultimately on you to change it, if even change is something that you want. There are multiple guides, and multiple ways of playing a champion, I am just offering something unique, that anyone can pick up on and do well with, just starting out. As they evolve as players, they can decide for themselves what works for them, and what does not, and make changes as they need. My goal is to encourage people to branch out and play new champions, there are soon to be 85 Champions, and all of them are fun and exciting to play w/, and offer there own unique contributions to anyone's gaming experience. I wish you the best luck in your LoL adventures, and even though we don't see eye to eye, you are most welcome to play a game w/ me. I offer a fun and laid back experience, don't stress over the Nexus, we will get it down w/o much resistance.
You can call me 'locked into' my view as much as you like, but like I said you're not exactly considering what I'm saying either.
Doesn't it make sense to buy cooldown reduction in order to have your heal and your crowd control abilities on a much lower cooldown? Don't you think there's a general reason for people as to why they do that?
Don't you think there's a reason why generally other champions take
Don't you think
Have you ever even thought about mentioning wards?
The fact is that you are telling is this is a SUPPORT/tank Alistar guide and your mindset seems completely wrong for playing a support champion. That is what I'm commenting on, my replies are not meant to be purely negative but right now you make a lot of choices that are simply strange and not logical on a support champion.
If you've had some good matches with this, great. That doesn't mean there's nothing that can be improved.
