Putting it in your signature and posting more on the forums would help, or you can ask friends or people in the ingame Moba chat to take a look at it. There's some reveiw threads in the guides section too.
The only thing not allowed is posting threads like 'PMG LUK AT MY AWSUM GUIDE' with a link to it as the text. :P

Step one. Put it in your signature and post all over the forums. Step two. Advertise it on the PvP client. Step three. Ask in theory crafting what items would be good on said champ, but not actually asking what items you should put in your guide. Step four. ?????? Step five. Profit!
I didn't start roaming the forums until my 2nd or 3rd guide.
Before then... I waited... and it paid off because I really made my guide worth reading.
There aren't any tricks to getting more traffic to your guide.
There are only tedious tasks you can do to eat up the time you would have spent waiting and hoping you get lucky.
Just focus on make it really good. But, I guess "good" is pretty subjective. :P

I like Restrictnine's plan for profit. And yeah, I'm not planning on releasing my guide until it has enough content for me to consider it "worth reading"... I really don't wanna be one in the piles of guides that didn't really say enough to make it worth reading.
^What you just said is enough evidence that you're not trying to write a **** guide and get it at 90%. Just that attitude alone will make you welcome in this community, and we'll be more likely to have a look at your guide :)
I didn't check the forums until my guide received comments like, "this build made me cut myself" and I came looking for what a "troll vote" constituted.
I still have that comment on my guide, I believe.
