Hey Guys,

i've faced many caster in the last 5on5 games and i got sick of it. Until lvl 6 they zoned me to death, some of their combos halfed my health in an instant. Same goes for Caitlyn, if im against her, she just rapes me.
What shall i do?
As Balance dictates.

Set up shroud and either bait their aoe and then attack or get closer to the enemy champ in the shroud. It can also be used for zoning :)
If you for some reason want to follow my ranked journey to gold, you can do it Here.

I am against asking for rep, only rep me if you think I contributed well or said something wise.

My suggestion is play quite defensively, making sure you use your shroud to your advantage. Focus on using your Q to last hit minions while under your shroud. Always make sure you're behind minions if they're a skillshot caster, otherwise just try to be out of range generally. A farmed Akali is as good as a fed Akali in my opinion :D Once you get to Level 6 though, RAPE THAT DAMN BRAND TO OBLIVION!
Credit goes to palzm for the awesome sig :)

Take care, tower hug if necessary. Try to get a hextech (at least the revolver) so you'll have a way to recover HP.
At lvl 6, destroy them.

I don't know how to give advice because I didn't think it was possible to lose lane with Akali o_O

I'm thinking go Youtube Voyboy or Westrice Akali games... That might help.

Try this vid.

It's a little bit old, and the opponents aren't exactly genius players. However, the strategies it shows is essentially what we would all tell you to do, and it demonstrates it well.

frm sve minions qith Q, get shroud t lvl 2, shroud the fighter minion so tht you hve shroud between your and enemy caster wave. walk on the edges, mark enemy if possible but don't force a trigger, last hit fighter minions instead.
This will make your enemy stay at safe distance from your caster wave (so they can't AoE farm them fast) and and focus on last hitting your fighter wave from ultrasafe distance, thus slowing their farm at par with you.

For all you questions about jungling

Akali pre-6: Farm with Q and, if possible, E. Use shroud to block off opposing champs since no one wants to fight Akali in her shroud. Use it to secure last hit safely. Occasionally hit enemy champ with Q, procing the mark if they have overextended to deal stupid damage.

Akali post-6: Hit enemy champ with your Q. Proceed to KILL THE **** OUT OF THEM. Wander to other lanes to do repeat the process until all champs are dead. If a champ respawns, kill them, too. Continue this process until you win. Then kill them in their next game and get called OP.

Twilight Shroud, your friend.
Make sure to strictly last hit with Mark of the Assassin, until you hit level six.
Let Caitlyn push to your tower and if she comes anywhere near you Twilight Shroud the minions, and walk in the Twilight Shroud making sure to avoid her traps if she places one down.

Level six, wait for enough stacks until you can
  • Chase her
  • Ensure the kill
Then catch her off guard when you Shadow Dance towards her. Most likely she'll try to run away. That small mistake ensures a kill. ^^
Then you basically own the lane, because she's to scared to come close to you.

If you want to kill her pre-6 then harass her a bit, to about 75-80% health, then Mark of the Assassin, wait for cool-down, Flash, Auto-Attack, Mark of the Assassin, & Ignite. She SHOULD be dead by then, if not you're doing something wrong.

Hope this helps.
