Olaf is already so ******** good though lol.
I build really tanky, so I actually prefer flat damage reduction to % damage reduction. That would be a nerf to the way I play Olaf.

Olaf is a niche pick. He's fine where he is as long as you know how to play him AND when to play him.
He only fits certain comps and is the second/third choice on jungler rosters, not your go-to jungler.

Yea he is good, but outplayed easily by better junglers like Lee Sin or Nocturne, and even Shaco.
His true damage is high early-mid game, but late game nearly useless spell against champs with high HP.
Undertow is hard to land and Olaf is dependent on it. You can simply easily overshoot a target or miss, what in most cases will end up with losing a kill.
He is only viable on solo top lane nowadays, in my opinion. I consider him as a high-risk, a high-reward champion.

I agree he's only viable in solo top.
But undertow is really easy to land imo.

Try watching the video. Olaf can be a better pick then

Olaf doesn't need MS buff. Q is fine, it's not that hard if you've actually practiced with Olaf. (Knowing when to throw it instead of always trying to land it against all odds)

The rest you said just means you need more practice.

I mean it is easy to land, but you requires in most cases to hit a target and then pick up the target, and keep doing that. And that is not that easy. I'm not talking about custom/lowbie games.

I'm talking about real games.
Try watching the video, stonewall IS in high ELO. You clearly haven't. Sounds like you're the one in lowbie customs, stonewall is definitely higher ELO then you if you think he needs buffs. :P
Picking up
Undertow is a L2P issue. (Learn 2 Play)
Olaf is fine where he is; that's the limit to his design. /end thread

Jun's got the right idea. You want to to use your ultimate to enable you to burst down a carry unhindered, and 340 true damage is always gonna be good vrs a squishy carry.
the way Olaf's ult reduces damage is really strong, I wouldn't underestimate it. In a lot of cases % reduction isn't as effective as flat reduction. :)
Just work on your axe throws, you'll get the hang of it.

Self explanatory.
Would help him in farming.
This is needed. It should be done since Olaf has been released. Flat reduction sux.
There was similar thread like this by me, but I got new thoughts now.
