Thanks guy. With the holiday I'm not sure when I'll get around to it but I'll definitely change this up at some point.

Hey there ^^

You asked for a review of this guide so I checked it out.

I have a lot to say about this in terms of the current content (viability), grammar, visual appearance and depth, so let's get right to it :)

Viability

I think overall your choices in terms of items, masteries, runes etc. are not bad, but also not optimal. I'll go by them 1 by 1.
  • Your runes. I don't see why you would take 4 flat magic resistance glyphs. In lane you will most likely face an AD carry (who deals physical damage) and a support champion (who deals magic damage, but normally not a lot). The magic resist per level glyphs become better than the flat ones at level 10 and I don't feel like a lot of mages will fight you before you reach level 10. Even if a mid (or of course an AP jungler like Fiddlesticks) comes to gank, the flat amount of magic resistance won't save you. It is definitely not worth it to sacrifice some of your late game magic resistance by taking these glyphs.
Also, you use 1 attack speed quintessences even though that won't significantly increase your attack speed. Stick to 3x Greater Quintessence of Desolation or use 3x Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage instead.
  • Masteries. 21/9/0 or 21/0/9 are the two standard setups for AD carries and putting more points in Offense is really not optimal. Remember that the 10% critical strike damage increase from Lethality becomes less effective when buying an Infinity Edge (because of the way it's calculated) and that it isn't really worth it to take this by investing 4 points in Deadliness which gives an insignificant amount of critical strike chance considering the fact that you buy critical strike chance items like Infinity Edge, Phantom Dancer and Trinity Force. If you want to keep it, remove the points from Havoc since the damage increase isn't THAT much.
  • Your build. I have three things I want to comment on:
    • You should get a Zeal before finishing both Bloodthirster and Infinity Edge because otherwise you won't have enough attack speed during the mid game.
    • It's too offensive. You don't list any defensive items even though Banshee's Veil is pretty much a standard item for AD carries (against teams that know that they should focus an AD carry, of course). Alternatives would be Guardian Angel (only if seriously fed) or Quicksilver Sash if the enemies have abilities like Malzahars and Warwicks ultimates.
    • Trinity Force. Not bad, but definitely not a core item. On Corki and Ezreal it is considered a core item because those champions have an ability (or even multiple abilities) with a low cooldown. On Vayne (who only has a 2 second cooldown on her Tumble once she maxes it!!!) it's not even considered a core item, simply because there are better alternatives. Graves' cooldowns are not even low, so I really wouldn't spend 4000 gold on this item when other items are better to increase his damage.

I'm also not sure about picking Ghost over Flash but Graves does have his Quickdraw to dodge skillshots and go through walls so I guess it's ok on him.

Grammar

Very few mistakes in terms of spelling, but some sentences could really be rephrased. Also, work on the amount of commas you use.

For example, this:
Quoted:
We don't need any more points because more points in it don't blind people more so there isn't much point because the damage is relatively insignificant.

sounds better when rephrased like this:

Quoted:
We don't need to invest any more points in this ability, because it doesn't change the vision reduction of enemies. Also, the damage is relatively insignificant, so there isn't much point in leveling it

Visual Appearance

It looks like you understand most of the basics in terms of making your guide look visually appealing, the guide looks good :)
However, I still have a few suggestions:
  • Try using columns more often. It can, for example, make this:

    Quoted:

Depending on how the game is going you might not end up getting any phantom dancers. This is OK. Only substitute Phantom Dancers if you fall a bit behind and need a little extra damage that attack speed and crits won't get you.

    look like this:
    Quoted:
SPACE Depending on how the game is going you might not end up getting any phantom dancers. This is OK. Only substitute Phantom Dancers if you fall a bit behind and need a little extra damage that attack speed and crits won't get you.

You won't see the black text because background of the MobaFire website is also black
  • Use the Mastery Planner for your Masteries section
  • There's a mistake in your rune planner, you have 13 glyphs ;)

Depth

In terms of depth I think there's a lot that could be added.
First of all, you don't have a section describing what Graves' abilities do (it's also possible to add useful tips & tricks in this section), even though that's really a section every guide should have. The same goes for a basic Pros/Cons section: Why should anyone pick Graves? What makes him better than other AD carries?

There's also a serious lack of alternatives provided in this guide. You list no alternative masteries, no alternative runes and only a few situational last items, again without listing more alternatives.

Finally, work on the gameplay section. Your explanation of what to do in teamfights is simply way too short. Who do you focus? Who do you watch out for? What are good combos to use? Where do you position yourself?

If you really want to go over the top, add sections on the different AD carries and supports that you will face and how to play against them.

That's it, hope it helps ^^

Good luck on further improving the guide
