Nobody said anything about fun, I used to play Lux all the time as my main AP when I was level ~16-30. I just wish she were more useful.
In that case, I 100 % agree with you :)

Oh well, I will still have more fun playing Lux than playing Morgana, and whatever you guys say doesn't change it <3
I didn't question the fun in the slightest, but this wasn't an argument about fun, it was an argument about which was better.

Isn't fun closely related to "better" in this game? :P
Well, it remains my opinion that Lux > Morgana. It's just the ability to stay out of range while still dealing plenty of damage is fun :) I really should try to play Xerath some more - he can do that even better :P
But I just love my Finales Funkeln - that is my favorite ability in the whole game ^^

Both have snare
Morgana has the pool of DoT and Lux the slow pool and the damage
Morgana's shield can block CC from magical damage, Lux's only blocks the damage
Morgana's ult is great, but you have to stay near the enemies to stun, what can be really risky since she is easy to kill. Lux can fire a lazer from a great distance and still do a good damage
I want my cookie
PS: Ice, Morgana > Lux, 2 advantages vs 1 advantage

I want my cookie too, when was the last time Morgana landed a Dark Binding on me? Level 15, 18 perhaps? When was the last time Lux owned me? Last game, I tell you. O_o

I think her
Prismatic Barrier needs a buff to:
95 / 120 / 145 / 170 / 205 (+0.4 per ability power)
Pretty huge, but needed.

Moot point. Do you really expect team fights to last over 24 seconds? You won't have time to use more than one. Maybe one for finishing off, but that's it. You can't waste it, either. You won't be using it every 24 seconds on the 24th second.
Regarding -
-AoE Snare > Single Target Snare (Lux: 1 Morgana: 0)
-AoE DoT > AoE Splosions (Lux: 1 Morgana: 1)
-CC Shield > AoE Shield (Lux: 1 Morgana: 2
-AoE Lazers > AoE Chains (Lux: 2 Morgana: 2)
You assume each is a 1 value. Not to mention that you don't take into account the AoE stun Morgana has.
Lux (going through her abilities, didn't count W because it's one of the worst skills in the game) -
Kind of slow, let's be honest it's used for damage and is a tiny range
Snare that can get 2 people if you're lucky
AoE ult
Morg -
The longest snare in the game on Q
Infinite farm with W
Ungankable in lane due to shield
Shield with really good scaling and CC immunity
AoE ult
AoE slow on ult
AoE stun on ult
@IceCreamy
Yes it does. Half a second is a lot of time, especially when it takes a finger press to avoid.
Edit: Oh, and yes, as Luther has pointed out, if you're not the jungler and you're against competent players, you will never steal baron.
We've already established Morg is better.
I'm just trying to say that Lux is viable, and may well be stronger then Morg if she gets a couple of buffs.
Lol, Lux's snare is pathetically easy to hit and it's relatively easy to hit two people with it np. Don't just generalize points, I assume a Morgana has Zhonya's so she hits her ults 100% of the time and isn't cc'd etc out of it.
It's not really a moot point when Lux can assist in ganks from across the map every seconds,
Actually I do account the AoE stun. The only thing being like I said, it's short range and requires her to build at the very least hourglass.
Lux has infinite farm on E too, just saying. She also pushes better because it's instant...and therefore better in teamfights...
Morgana's damage early game (and to a much lesser extent late game) relies on getting snare and hitting it, and let me tell you about skillshots easy to dodge... :P
Oh and uh, R does more damage then smite, problem?
I admit W is a ****ty shield, but unlike Morgana she doesn't absolutely 100% get raped vs AD because of it.

Is there an ignore feature on the forums?
Because i don't think that Nick realizes that the shield hits twice, and he just gave lux a 410 base, 1.2 ap scaling shield FOR HER ENTIRE TEAM.
Tri lane for life.

Lux generally isn't seen as very good due to the low AP ratios on her skills combined with the difficulty to land them. They're low and aren't point and click. Go figure.
Fiddlesticks, I'm not going to lie, sucks in the jungle. Hard. He, however, has no lane control. The closest thing he has to harassment is his E, and that's pitiful. He can't farm, and when his main skill is Drain, it's pointless against both heavy CC opponents or heavy harassment opponents. People don't stand there and be drained. He also can't use that same ability to farm or whatever. TF, for example, maxes Q first. He can farm with it AND kill people, as with Malz's E, and even though Malz's E is a DoT, it stays even if they move away, unlike Fiddles' abilities.
One time i laned Cho'Gath against Fiddle Sticks.
I would just silence him out of Drain, it was hilarious.
