You realize that if SOPA passes, MOBAFire could easily be shut down.

Just puttin that out there.

I'm already trying to convince a large part of my school to contact the congressperson and tell other people to stop it as well.

Not really. A ton of sites will censor it's users just to stay up.
MOBA is just the site I care about the most. :3

Yeah but the thing is if there's any copyrighted material on the site, regardless of whether it's user uploaded or breaks the site's rules, it can still be immediatly shut down with no warning.

And think about it. There's at least some copyrighted stuff on every site on the internet.

soo when is it going to be passed?
how much chance is there that it will pass(public opinion in the us)?
Will it be able to shut down sites hosted all over the world?(that would be pretty odd and stupid)

1) Dunno
2) Pretty much 100%. There's too much money behind it for it not to pass.
3) As far as I know only American sites, but most popular/good websites are hosted in the US.

Pretty sure they're going to meet/vote on it by/on the 26th of January.

And yes, America is so anal about net security, they will send people to other countries to "enforce the law."

We've just recently forced a law in Spain that's like SOPA to allow them to continue trading with us. It's stupid really.

Thank you to jhoijhoi for the sig, and all the dividers in the guide.

If SOPA passes then America will contemplate invading other countries to forcibly get people who have broken that law in America so they can be charged.

I'm seriously contemplating hacking the White House, Pentagon, Quantico and other computers and just blowing **** up (figuratively).
