And another idea crossed my mind when a beginner messaged me in need of some help. You could add +rep button in private messages. I think it would be nice if those that help beginners via messages get some rep for that and it would motivate some other users to help them aswell.

haha, not that I need +rep, but this would be cool too.
I remember when I was a complete noob and harassed Jebus to help me. I would have probably given him +rep for every day he put up with my questions.
How would you know if you liked it without reading the whole guide? And if you read the whole guide, you're basically at the bottom of the page, so finding a comment of the author shouldn't be such a big problem.
