No, in CoD you actually do things other than moving the left stick forward and repeatedly pressing X when you get into a fight. :P
Yeah that's right, I'm saying it, CoD was less linear than FFXIII.

Good for you.
Personally I spend my time playing GOOD games, but whatever floats your boat I guess.
Sittin' on chimneys, putting fire up my ***.

Neither CoD or FFXIII are good games. :P
Well XIII isn't really a bad game in its own right, just ****ty compared to previous FF games.

When it was Square alone Final Fantasy games took their time to get released and everyone was happy.
Since they merged with Enix Final Fantasy became more of an exploiutable brand leading SE to release final fantasy games without getting as accurate as older games. FFXIII is a fair example, if it was called Vagrant Story II it would have been a much better game, point is: it's not final fantasy, not fully at best.
Similar mistake was made on FFXIV. When the game came out it was in actual Alpha Test, rite now is basically in Open Beta and will be complete when 2.0 comes out. The difference being you won't get your char wiped.
I really can't wait for the next update, I took my Lancer to lvl 50 (maxed) and by the end of february I'll be able to turn that into a DRAGOON!!!

THE COOL

And the biggest problem wih 13 was what I like to call 'corridor syndrome'. Literally the entire game is this:
-Walk down the corridor for 20 mins or so
-Encounter cutscene
-Walk down the corridor some more
-Encounter another cutscene somehow related to and carrying on from the last one
-Walk down the corridor some more
-Boss fight and area change
-Go back to top
You just described how CoD revolutionized gaming.
Errwan loves CoD.
