One of my recent messages is forever unread. Every time I open it, I still see 1 unread when I go back to my Messages screen and it's lit up like I haven't seen it before. Not a site-breaking issue, but it's kind of annoying. :/

Just add it to the list I guess.

This was due to a corrupt time zone file on one of the web servers. One server was set to North American CST and all the others were set to PST, so any posts that went through that server ended up in the future. Now that it's fixed and we're caught up with CST these issues should go away.

It was quite funny to read a post, then going back to the subforum and notice that post was marked unread because the server thought I read a reply from the future XD

It happened again today on another server. I think I know the cause of it - a rolling update was corrupting the file. It should now be fixed on all the servers, and once the time zones catch up those permanently unread messages should become read and stop bugging you. Let me know if they don't.
