Other than that the graphic is kinda boring.
Maybe add some effects, brushes, or something?

I use the square tool and make a rectangle like I did for behind the text, rasterized it and then used the selection tool to delete every 5 pixels horizontal and 1 vertical in the middle. :p it was pretty easy.

Pretty much, just get creative jhoi. Theres multiple ways to do those squares. Some even make it as brushes so you can download them.

^Ellie: I just found some squares via google then resized, clipping mask'd and changed the layer mode to fit. But I'm too clumsy to make my own by erasing 1px at a time o.O

I just use the pencil tool, or like... uh.... use a brush.
