Yup, I've looked at it a lot recently, because I honestly feel like it's the sort of site a player of my level should use.
The 'Quick Guide' information doesn't always match the information from the individual tabs, but apart from that it looks really good and I can see why Moba should feel threatened.

Yeah well, that place has a NEW tag on Katarina so.... yeah... might be a little outdated or something. Besides, the layout doesn't really look good. We have a champion rooster at the bottom of the page and all the free champions displayed on the home page. While here you have to scroll down to see who's free. The forums don't look nice either.
And the people are snobby -___-
Easily the best Moba site period, let alone LoL. Solomid was a step in the right direction over mobafire but this takes it to a whole new level, love the guides and love that you guys are gonna be here in the forums to interact and answer questions.
Also has a ton of spelling mistakes from the "pros", like Soraka's Q being called Starfall, Rammus Guide "Shurelia's Reverie" instead of Shurelya's.
I'm not jelly at all.

^ lol, a lot of them are tagged as 'new' because the guides made for them are new (the site is also kind of new, you know xD).
I think the front page looks very good actually. Click a champion, get a good guide. What more could you want?

The guides may not be as detailed as some Moba guides, but they provide all the information a (not completely new) player needs to know and are written by high ELO players which makes them more legitimate than pretty much every guide written on this site tbh.

MissMaw: It says new because the site is new. The forums are also new, there are only a few threads and only a few pages of said threads. You can't expect people to have superb spelling at all times, and in fact MobaFire had a few shocking a guides for a long time.
Basically it comes down to the fact that the other site is just so much more streamlined, the articles are so easy to read, well written and are just flat out great resources, the guides are correct, up to date and written by professionals, the guide format is far sexier...

Additionally, you can see who's online. One of the most simplest things to display, and yet MobaFire doesn't have this feature.

Seriously though, lol, I feel threatened by this here website (obviously this isn't advertising, but a mod/admin can remove link if necessary). I think it's cleaner, easier to navigate and of course... it's a tad more legitimate than MobaFire (due to the fact it's all written by high elo players).
I like the tab system they have in place for navigating chapters (means that each chapter loads individually, not the whole guide at once).
I like the way they indicate multiple item purchases (a little x3 or x2 or whatever super-imposed above the item).
I like the way there is a little bag of gold AND a greyed out icon of an item you sell in the shop when necessary.
I like how simple things are wiki-coded to provide more information to those curious; like "AD Bot" has a tooltip, as does "AP Damage" and "Support" etc.
I like the articles the site has on what AD + Support is, what Farming is, what Warding is etc.
I like how even articles are segmented so the reader isn't daunted by a lot of information (Previous Page 1 of 2 Next).
What I don't want to like, but I do like, is how the featured guide is featured. The best guide (or currently, the only guide) is featured immediately. You click on Ashe, and the best guide is displayed.
Has anyone else looked at this site yet?
(to be clear, I love MobaFire, but I am SERIOUSLY jealous of this other site and how it's set up)
