....

So what you're saying is a champion who can 1v1 technically any champion in the game is a UP champion. So essentially high elo players who play Master Yi in ranked games are playing a champion that's similar to Evelynn. Completely false statement.

I don't think you understand what "rework" means.

Master Yi already has more than enough damage output. The reason why's he's not played is because
1) He technically only jungles
2) He's super weak against CC

What you're saying is, "Oh he's super weak against CC, let's give him a **** ton more utility to make him overpowered enough to not be that weak against CC!"

One thing I have in mind is lowering the duration of his W, lowering the lvl 5 damage of his E, lowering the mana cost on his Q by a tad, and adding on not being affected by CC for a short time to his W.

Master Yi doesn't fall short of damage rather then survivability. Its not the problem that hes no good enough but that he has no defense. Any competent team will crush him if they see him as danger, while against bad teams he is one of best champions. He also unbalances much negativity about him with his incredible ability to push.

So yeah, if he should get buffed, which is not going to happen, they should absolutely target his defenses.

A wise man gets more use from his enemies than a fool from his friends.

1vs1 any champ? Look at Tryndamere. He can also 1vs1 any champ and has even more utility...

Again, Tryndamere would be still better than my reworked yi at all.

For defense, I had the idea of the Wuju Shield before(shield+slow at AA while shield is active, shield strength with AP-ratio)). But I think it was too much.

You clearly do not understand what you are saying.

Comparing two different champions with an obvious reason as to why one is picked and another is not.

Good bye, I'm not coming back to this thread.

What's a good way to make Yi viable?

Give him 400 more attack range.
Tri lane for life.

Bravo! The ignorance of the typical MOBAfire theory crafter could not have been better demonstrated then what you've just posted right there.

Ehm:

1. Damage was Reduced, not increased.(-5/10 AD is pretty huge early) Also, the mana costs on Wuju Style are a bit increased because of lower cd and duration.

You think Wuju makes him a good laner?
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
I'm a strong independent black mage who don't need no mana.

Wuju is more or less one of the biggest parts of his harass combo(with Double Strike) I always lvl Wuju Style first because it allows easier last hitting and more dmg at the harass combo.

But in the lane I also have to spend points onto Meditate at 1-2 points to keep high HP. I would want to skill Alpha Strike, but it pushes the lane to hard, the outcome is rather random and you maybe can't even hit the enemy. For me, it is in this situation more a gap closer than a dmg or farm tool. And obviously, as a farm tool, you don't have enough mana for it.

Look, laning Yi is not viable at higher skill level. He gets owned by 90% of champions. And he won't get buffed. I'm sure.

Hes a decent jungler and he does awesome damage if played right. Those two combined makes a good jungler. Then you look at enemy team. Got CC to shut you down? Yes - Pick other champions, No - Easy game.

Defeat is not the worst of failures. Not to have tried is the true failure.
