Original Post is updated! Read it!

Rebumping this thread since I'll be more active nowadays and some people were asking me when I'll be climbing the elo ladder once again. With a properly working stream too, people can watch me climb/tumble through this journey! I hope you look forward to this soon! ~

Yesterday, Solo Queue was pretty rough, on top of that, my internet kept lagging and being "Comcastic". Overall, I lost some elo but I did meet some nice Rioters!

Games with Jesse Perring and RiotJeffJew:

Summary: Whenever you play with Riot employees, it's a little fun since they're recognizable but you're also almost guaranteed a troll-free game with Rioters. Very little people wanna get banned for dumb things like raging in chat and etc. In these two games, they were pretty much blowouts. With good coordination and teamwork with everyone on the team, ganks and fights were easy. I did my job as a Support to constantly ward, get an oracles and clear enemy wards and to keep timers on Drag and buffs. A lot of supports really don't keep timers on buffs but they're so important in my opinion. Knowing when to take the enemies' red and blue buffs can sway the momentum in a lane. Also one note I do want to add is that RiotJeffJew took up the leadership role in both of the games and lead our team down the winning path. I strongly believe that most junglers should take up that role since they're usually the initiators and are generally the tankiest. Moral of these games: Ward, timers, leadership.

Ending Elo after DC's and etc : 1619

Starting today, I won three games and lost one.

Lee Sin Jungle Game :

Summary: In all honestly, I feel like our bottom lane really lost us the game. Middle and top lane did not feed and get kills or just kept the lane fair even. I jungled fine and occasionally counterjungled. However, our bottom just lost 2v2 without jungle ganks and really guaranteed the win for the other team. What I really learned from this game is that I should really start suggesting picks in Champion Select. Although Janna and Caitlyn were duo queue, they seemed unsure of what to run. Perhaps my words during picking could have fixed the composition bot because Cait + Janna cannot out sustain a Sona + MF because of MF's lane dominance early game and Sona's healing overall.

Ryze and Warwick top lanes :

Summary: Top lane is generally easy when you're playing strong champions. With proper warding, top is just a 1v1 fest with two players just trying to outplay each other. In my first game, I knew that Nidalee beat Ryze early on but as long as I got my tear and other items, I'd slowly climb back and beat her in lane. Nidalee tried to harass me a lot early on as I expected and I played passive and cs'ed as best as I could. Both junglers that game seldomly came top and it was mainly a free farm lane top. I honestly think that Nidalee could have denied me more cs if she was more aggressive but I don't blame her since I let the lane push to my tower and froze it there for easier csing and just the security factor of being next to your own tower. As the game went on, I got all of my generic items and Ryze became the monster he became with the help of the fed Tristana bottom lane. Next is to my Warwick game! When it comes to Warwick early game, his sustain is ridiculous and is almost never pushed out of lane. However, my Warwick game had really difficult time. Our jungle was invaded and the Lee Sin I laned against pick up first blood on our Soraka that was caught off guard. On Lee's way to top with his team, they also caught us and killed Maokai in their red jungle since we were trying to counter-jungle their counter jungle. As a result, the Lee Sin I had to lane against had a 2-0 start and it was quite a struggle. Thankfully, I was playing Warwick and we all know how crazy his sustain is. I firmly believe in that if you're sure that you can't win your lane like in that case, just let the lane push in and cs fine with the comfort of your tower. When late game hit, that Lee Sin did pick up a lot of kills but didn't really do a lot of damage that was game changing. Thanks to a Frozen Heart that I picked up, the only real threats were Sivir and Ahri. After we focused those two down in team fights, we snowballed back into the game despite giving up early kills to Lee Sin and won the game. I really do applaud the perseverance and teamwork we had though. Maokai was pretty disheartened since he gave up a lot of kills early game and was 0-4 quite early in the game. However, our bottom lane and middle lane didn't give up despite all those messages of "An ally has been slain!" and we ended up crawling out of the pit of despair and snowballed into a victory.

Current Elo: 1653
