I've been trying to think of good lane partners for Kog-Maw to fit into a ranked gameplay format and so far my first picks have been either Taric or Scion. See, problem with Kog-Maw is that he's so squishy he needs a shield in lane with him to be effective or he will be torn up. Scion works especially well with Kog IMO as his stun then Kog's slow as well as Armor reduction works to maximize dmg. Another good one would be Alistar because of his CC and heal, but I have not had the chance to try that one out yet.
Any Suggestions / Ideas that could make for an epic Kog Lane?

Soraka might be good. She can heal and mana Kog, since he's also pretty mana hungry early game.

Soraka does seem pretty viable cuz that would allow for some aggressive early play without much mana/heath worry but if the other lane has 2 damagers it can still get hairy. If I was going for early kills tho to get an edge on mid-game I would want somebody who could put out a bit of damage or some hard cc. I think I'm just in love with the stun/slow combo xD

Also those 2 are great for helping prevent ganks with their respective skillets, because nobody likes ganks. I sleep now but will return to this thread around 11 o clock in the am. Peace!

Soraka is NOT a good support for kog. Due to him not having any dashes, he needs to have a cc-monster on a kinda low-cd.
I would not pick sona either for him, since her only part of CC is on a ultimate CD.
Janna is awesome with him. His on-time buff works very well with her dps shield, she also has both a slow and knockup AND a knockback.
Nunu is mainly picked for his Attackspeed and Movespeed buff, but his constant slow and ulty slow works well with kog's slow.
^Thoose are the two top-tier supports for kog'maw^ Since both have no heal, an early wriggles is almost core on him.

Nunu is probably the best support on kog. Permanent slow and blood boil essentially grants him an escape tool
