If you're going to play critplank, you absolutely need to rush IE. Realize Gangplank isn't really a "carry" so rushing IE in top lane with only a philo as your sustain is really just disingenuous. Especially with little armor/health in your runes/masteries. You will play against Rivens, Mords, Reneks, Fioras, Garens, Jarvans, Mundos, Tryns, Yoricks... all who will out heal you, armor you and DPS you. Even with crit, you're relying on a percentage chance to do big damage. Top lane sustain requires armor, health and regen. So really what you're dealing with here in this guide is "glass cannon top lane and pray for crits to win the lane like a pro." Your GP needs more beef. Build armor/health and DPS with a little crit first, not focus on crit first. Rework armor into your runes/masteries. Philo stone alone is not enough for sustain. Realize 2 GP 10 items to start may actually set you back more than it'll help you, because it'll be 12+ minutes before they pay for themselves (if you sell them back, if not it's 20+ each)

There's a lot of ways to build GP, but this method is kinda outdated. Critplank is too squishy for top lane now.

I disagree with Onrion.

Despite the colours settings which most new guides don't have, this guide has TOO MUCH. Equal emphasis on all points means its next to equivilant to being totally white.

Riot Game INC's video of gangplank is probably what you based your built on. They had a motive to promote certain items on gangplank to make him not a total tanky DPS, and for your info, that champion spotlight is one of the worst to date of what Riot has done for a champ spotlight.

Read the individual sections if you want to know my opinion, or else just skip to the end.

Now for the individual sections :

What is with your runes? They aren't good. They do not link with your items and are generally bad. Check out Searz's rune guide, search him and then you'll find the better setups available. Playing Crit-based means Infinity Edge is your earliest end-game item that you MUST rush, otherwise, your runes are wasted

Items wise, they are bad. You go for a standard Crit/AS based runes. Why not work to that? Build Infinity Edge earlier, get some on-hit items if you want the AS so much. Your item build needs a lot of rearranging. Yommuu's Ghostblade is better off early, so is Infinity Edge, Bloodthirster should be later, Warmog's Armor + Atma's Impaler any time within the game. You have gotten 2 gold items early. Do they suit your needs? Or will they delay your mid-game build? Even if you wait 30min before selling them, they would delay your immediate items. Your immediate items may be better, may be worse. Are you sure you want 2 gold items for a tanky DPS, who usually gets one of the most last hits?

Masteries now.
You cannot add Bladed Armor without its prerequisites. Even if you could, what for? Your aren't playing as a jungler, and even as one, you are a DPS jungler, not a tank jungler, therefore its rarely needed.

Why do you need that little bit of CDR? 4% from Sorcery isn't much to help. Havoc only increases damage by 1% at level 2, is it that worth it? Every 1000 damage you do, Havoc only increases it by 10. Sunder and Vampirism is better.

You can stop skipping here

To your guide's general info, its not good. Remove Scurvy isn't known as "Troll Oranges" within the general league of legends community.

Crit builds for Gangplank do NOT add Raise Morale first. Parrrley can crit. Gangplank builds are Crit. Raise Morale doesn't help much with Crit, except base damage. WHY add Raise Morale 1st, because Riot said so? Everyone's full build will be different, but you contradict your own.

Your items section just explains your own items. It doesn't give situational items. Possible improvement there.

Summoner Spell-wise, its really bad. Suggest the BETTER ones. Don't mention next to all. I can randomly take Clarity and Revive, and I can show you how I never get ganked successfully. Its called Sight wards or Vision Wards. Summoner spells do not always save you. Summoner spells do not always ruin you. Taking Clarity does not equate to being ganked.

Bad guide, admittingly it needs a lot of improvements. Searching up jhoijhoi and Searz or other major Mobafire community members may help a lot to your guide.

+1 good start

add in a situational items section bro. also you got the basic guide look going. very good color coding. think you should get a template for pros/cons though. also add in a section about lane phasing and lane matchups.

keep up the good work!
