Ah man, played as Ashe again today and got totally owned :( been a very bad day for my LoL career :( lol

Laning against Fiddle's is impossible as Ashe.

I do have another question though... during the late game team fights, how should I proceed as Ashe? I mean, I know to target the squishier champions etc, but what if they are WAY to the back shooting my tanks? Surely I don't run forwards where a Riven could easily be lurking? Or even worse, Akali!

I feel sometimes I let my team down if we lose because I couldn't pick my targets properly... or wasn't brave enough to run forwards and attack something a bit weaker. I'm also terrified to hide in a bush and ambush someone as Ashe. I tried it against Ryze once and he turned around and blew my face off with magic...

One last point... is it suicide to attack Nautilus on my own if we both have decent health? Random question i know, ha!

Thanks!

When you're playing you may find that many people tell you to focus the squishier high damage champions on the enemy team. Generally it's true that you want to do this on most champions.

However, when playing a ranged AD it is very often too risky to attack these targets because they are too far behind their team and too well protected. It can often be suicide.

It is absolutely fine when playing ranged AD to focus a tank if you can't reach a softer target.

Don't try to be brave. You are as squishy as squishy can be and will die instantly to an AP carry or anything with burst damage. Stay behind your team at all times, don't take risks and don't die.

Don't try to ambush anyone on AD, that's just never going to end well unless you're really fed or it's a support. Ryze will beat Ashe 100% of the time in a straight up fight unless she is super fed.

Oh good, thanks for the reassurance that my survival intuition was the right call! I was worried I was just playing badly late game (which I think actually is my weakness) How much should you stick together as a team late game? and should we only risk pushing lanes after we win a team fight? I mean if our teams are pretty equal in kills/levels etc.

(I've only just realized you've answered about 5 of my questions and received no rep! Apologies, you have some now!)

And yes, I found out only too suddenly fighting Ryze is a bad idea, lol... I've also found it out against, Annie, Veigar and Fiddle's... oh dear, lol.

Stick together constantly late game. Never risk pushing a lane alone on an AD. You can break off quickly to farm a wave or two if it's in a safe position, then return to your team.

If you feel confident you can either try to push a lane as five or take dragon/baron. It's generally a bad idea to split up to push if you don't know what you're doing and you're playing AD.

Having trouble playing ashe? Well, my suggestion is DONT PLAY HER. I dodge q anytime someone picks ashe. if you INSIST on playing her go for AD/Crit ashe. But that build takes soooooooooo much money it is nearly unviable.

Lol Ashe is fine.

She's going to be a pick at the next tournament for sure.

Wow, I hope none of the fools in the previous pages put you off from still playing and possibly maining Ashe. So much false information in this thread. Keep at it, mastering how to land great arrows from bot to mid or within team-fights really helps change the tide and feels so satisfying.

Clueless. She is probably more team reliant then some other AD carries as when she lands a great arrow initiation on a prime target yet her team just gawps like baboons not acting upon it then some of her potential is wasted.

Ha, well... after dying countless times to Tryndamere/Swain/Talon/Vladimir/Veigar/Singed/Warwick/Ryze/Cogmaw/Kassadin/Yi/Vayne, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc... I came to two possible conclusions
1: I am just God awful at this game or...
2: Ashe really does suck!
I don't even feel I help during team fights at all, sat at the back poking the enemy closest and every now and again fire a volley in. I know she has a great initializer, but once you've done that... what can she do that Veigar can't for example? (who has a WAY better initializer in my opinion anyway!) So what does she add to the team?

I didn't want to dislike Ashe like this, I had great hopes :) but after dying a million times, you sort of think somethings not right... lol

My answer lies somewhere in the question, if Ashe is a viable option, why do other AD carries outclass her so badly? Caitlyn, Vayne, Yi, Miss Fortune, etc, etc, etc once again. She in my opinion the the worst AD Carry and thus I have actually stopped using her, I just couldn't get her to work at all. I'm now level 21 and whenever I choose her I lose and it's literally my fault that we do. Which is an incredibly depressing and infuriating conclusion to come to!

I now play as Lux and am actually quite good (I think) with her. I quite often end up with most kills or assists and I like the way you can play her AP or Support.

I am meaning to try Sivir at some point as she's been recommended to me as the strongest AD carry at the moment, but that'll come.

Ashe has officially been canned, which is a shame as she was my first character I played as and bought, but... she's just awful! and the more I play and see other AD carries, the more I realize it's true. :(

R.I.P Ashe I guess... :'(

She really isn't that bad, in fact I'm pretty sure that at the next tournament we'll be seeing Ashe and Urgot come into favour along with Kog'Maw.
