AD Marks and Quints, as Searz says, are good because W deals magic damage and it's your primary tool for clearing the jungle, eliminating the need for Armor Pen runes.
@Searz Madred's still gives AD, just not as much as you'd want. It also gives more AS, Armor, and the on-hit effect.

Burnout as a damage-dealing skill, mostly as a gap-closer and a 'oh **** gotta gtfo' skill. The scaling just isn't strong enough for me to consider building a ton of AD to make use of the damage.

Bear in mind it's AoE. If you hit three people it's effectively 0.6 scaling. If you hit all five it's effectively 1.0.

AD has its uses for your auto attacks, too, however.
If you rune for AD, you both increase the damage of that, your Q, and your regular auto attacks in one fell swoop.

Not talking about runes, more like

If you want damage from W, why not just get

You're never going to hit five people with a Shyvana Q and it's only AoE during her ult.
Sunfire Cape's a weak item and doesn't boost your autoattacks and Q at the same time.

You always want to be in your ult in fights >_> And you probably won't hit 5 people, just like how

Which is why I don't take it.
And I kind of forgot what we were arguing about :p

Why would you EVER build AD items on Shyvana?
She needs bulk - and a lot of it (you can't be running around with tonnes of damage but squishy and easily kited). She also needs a slow (FroMa), hence, Fratma's works wonders. After that (assuming no situational items need to be bought along the way), Wit's End seems to fit in perfectly, fitting the void of MR and AS. If you ever have enough gold to buy a Madred's on Shyvana (and still be useful), the game is already won.
