i smart cast everything, try smart casting on easy champions or spells. Riven is very easy to smart cast on, caitlyn's 90-calibur net, Graves'
Quickdraw, etc. those are really basic ones to start with then work your way up.
I actually learned how to smart cast on
Ezreal, then switched over everyone to smart cast. Try him first, it will take a few games to get used to but worth it imo.
I don't have a direct quote but I was watching SK Gaming's mid player Oceloteworld, and he said that he smartcasts abilities that he needs to get off quickly, so
Annie's burst or
LeBlanc. But he doesn't smartcast
Ahri's abilities because they're skillshots and he wants to check the max range.
I like smart casting skillshots because I can get them off so quickly, although sometimes I miss skillshots with
Nidalee usually i can get the spear off alot quicker than most people can react which is why i like it

I actually learned how to smart cast on

Not sure how smart casting would be good on cait and nid honestly i think nid needs the accurate aiming if you **** up one spear almost all your dmg gone.
Smart casting is better.
There is no scenario where smart casting would be inferior to manual casting.
It takes a while to get used to, but that's just improving gameplay, learning new stuff.

I play a lot of

Missing a spear is pretty punishing in team fights, but in the grand scheme of things it won't be. It's actually pretty difficult to miss a spear in a team fight. Even then,

^ I agree with winter, the only scenario I can even think of, is if you don't know the size of
Event Horizon :o

I play with smartcasting now. I tried it first one Brand game and totally dominated! Was sooo fun, and I hit my q's way easier. Now I smartcast everything. I have yet to start smartcasting summoners though, might make ignite way easier!

Well, I haven't tried. I just don't really care to. I prefer improving myself in other ways.
