Why is Glalio a counter to many AP Mids?

[/quote] Galieo and Ryze are nothing alike save for getting offensive stats from sources outside of pure AP builds. Galieo has no target based offensive abilities, Ryze is ALL targeted offensive based abilities. Ryze is a DPS mage, Galieo is more of a "nuker" in terms of how quickly he out puts damage. Galieo has a higher skill cap, Ryze is simple and straight forward. Either way, Psi said it in one word, but I decided to elaborate so you better understand how the two champions are different.[/quote]

I'd recommend watching some of his gameplay if you want to fully learn Galio. Galio is played like an off tank AP, if anything. He should be built pretty bulky (RoA, Abyssal maybe, etc) but since it's so easy to get farmed you might as well slap a Deathcap in somewhere along the lines. He needs to take hits to both get the most CC off and deal the most damage.[/quote]

Q is enough to 1 shot the caster minions, but E has to be used for the fighter ones. Then Auto-attacks to finish off anything else. Also, 400+ cs in 30 minutes is possible, because [[galio]] can literally just QE his wave, then wraiths and wolves, his wave again, etc. Take enemy wraiths too and you get ~11 bonus cs every time.[/quote]

I actually do that every time I play a high AoE damage champion mid, once I get enough damage to clear waves quickly I just pushpushpush and farm my jungle. Usually gives me 4-5 level advantage over the other jungler and duo laners.[/quote]
