It was me and a group of my friends who went to the midnight showing of the avengers and yeah, we were pretty excited about the movie. However, after we finished watching the entire movie, we were severely disappointed at the way marvel decided to portray it's avengers and I think it's honestly a real kick to the nuts for the people who know the back story of the avengers/ read the comic books as a kid. On top of that, Hawkeye was seriously like 'modernized' rather than keeping true to what he was originally portrayed as inside of the comic books. I think they did this to take another stab at his backstory and powers, but in my opinion, they really fell short in so many different ways. A lot of the plot was seemingly predictable, I was able to make predictions left and right about this movie during the entire thing. Some parts just got very cliche and out of control to the point where you feel like you're holding on for dear life onto the horns of a raging bull. I think the most retarded part of this stupid movie was the 20 seconds in the middle when Mario comes out of no where during that big ass fight in the city and jumps around for a bit. I don't know, but to me, I think that's just Marvel trying its hardest to appease fans when all it did was make 'a movie'. Nothing more, nothing less. The special effects were okay, the music was pretty good and the costumes were a little meh. This movie needs a lot of improvements to make it the way I'd want it to be instead of a fun movie to watch with all of your friends. Either or, I recommend double checking what your expectations are of this movie before you go to enter it. Chances are, they'll either blow them away or be like a small 5x5 fan trying to knock over Oprah's fat ass. [/spoiler][/quote]
